I'll try to answer some of your questions below...

Dear all,

Finally today this morning , i am official proud owner of BMW E36 318i 1998 ( just got back from JPJ ).... YES!!!

so , I cant wait to join u guys for the TT session.

im a newbie , really hope all sifu-sifu , otai-otai , senior / junior members could teach me all that i could learn about BMW... regardless the terms , engine type , problems ...etc. I have no idea at all about BMWs.

Some questions hope you guys don mind :

1) If im not official member , other than not able to enjoy the priviledge of events, discounts..etc . Can i join like normal members for TT sessions and join for ride / convoys ..activities..etc ?
Being a 'non-member', you may only join 'non-official' or 'non-sanctioned' events, however, there are times where invitations are 'open' for 'official' or 'sanctioned' events [this is at the discretion of the Club Committee]. Anyways, since we are at the begining of the year, we are currently processing membership applications etc. This would be a good time to hand in your application.

2) what is the difference of being a Official Member and Not ?
It would be too long a list...

3) Is there an weekly TT sessions for Klang Valley members ? where ? and can this newbie know nothing at all join ? :)
Check the 'Members Meet Ups' section in this forum for details.

4) im looking to convert my standard E36 to make up to M3 style ( not touching the engines/performance ) , where to get cheap reasonable bodykits / accessories add-on ? since im a newbie can i post a new topic at classifieds WTB ? need a verification ?
Cheap can be very subjective, so be careful when you ask questions on pricing and location. As quality/quantity, how well you know the owner of the shop/chop-shop etc plays a role. By all means, please post your WTB posts in the 'Classifieds Section' in this forum. I am sure there'll be responses... Goodluck modding :)

thanks to all .... really hope you guys could be frenly and let me join the club and get-together sessions.

Thanks BlackCat, for yr reply .

ermm.. like i said , im newbie , might not know the market price and types of bumpers / qualities. Therefore , ill try to learn much from members here. :) , hope seller / members will not be offended by the term CHEAP. just trying to grab the best of bargains.

ive seen n read the Official Member THread, but some members were saying that the Starter Kit and ...etc are not updated.. anyway i could get to know the complete updated Official members registrations and priviledge

non official members can join for TT ???

Advantage of being a member of BMWCM

dark knight,

Welcome to the forum & tkns for introducing yrself. As for the new member Starter Kit, 95% of what is given to new members are still given as per the list, only the Castrol Oil is not given. The allocation of the Castrol Oil was given last year to new members/new renewal, as it was given-in-kind or sponsored by our sponsors. For this year, there has been no news of such an allocation from Castrol, hence we will not get any 'free' oil. But then the other benefits far outweigh the 'free oil' and all members (and new members including myself) join the club bcos of a common love for our UDMs, share our experiences & join in for the monthly drives or activities. One such activity is the Kulim BMW Plant Plant Visit & Drive on Jan 29 & 30. Space allocated is for around 30 pax, so such activity are given priority to members, forumers will only be allocated a space if members choose not to participate. So you see, this is one advantage of being a member of BMWCM, all for only RM150 a year. And if we can't afford RM150 a year, we shouldn't even be driving BMWs!!

Cheers
