For all of the parts and servicing, it was at Lim Tayar, Ampang. For the Recond manual gearbox, Affan66 helped me out, someplace in Subang Jaya but will get the name from my son who sent it there . Moderator, I am assuming it is ok to name the service providers?

Lookiing at the history of this thread, it would appear that you got a decent deal on your front brake pads. I paid RM 250 (originals). Regards

fawzy, look like many material u done to ur udm mahal lah... try to belajar to be own mechanic lah.. for ur owm UDM, at least you would know how damn mechanic charge you for just simple work..

Hi Fawzy, my pads were from this brand called Textar bought over the counter. Not exactly the best one around, but I heard of cheaper pads before. What brand was yours?

Previously, I was using Textar front brake pads for my E36 318i, priced at RM160 a pair.

2. CASTROL 15/40 ENGINE OIL 4L X2 : RM55X2: RM110
3. OIL FILTER : RM25
4. OIL NUT : RM25
5. SOME HEAD LAMP WIRING AND 1 SPOTLIGHT BULB : RM 30
6. LABOUR & RESET OIL BAR: RM 25

TODAY KENA,
1.REPLACE LEFT-REAR ARM SUSPENSION ( RECOND) : RM 480
2. WHELL ALIGNMENT FRONT-REAR: RM 40
3. ADJUST CHAMBER REAR LEFT/ RIGHT : RM 65X2 = RM130
4. LABOUR CHARGE: RM 150
TOTAL: RM 1135
P/S: DRIVE 6 CYLINDER ENGINE JUST LIKE U FLY WITH RUSSIAN SUKOI FIGHTER JET .......... ONCE MAINTAINENCE COME.. MAKAN IKAN KERING BEB... NASIB ESOK NAIK OFFSHORE..

Car Overheating on the way back from Ipoh, Bleeder Screw head blown off due to Expansion tank failure. I had a spare bleeder screw as i knew this problem was coming, but i just could not remove the half that was stuck in between. Had to tow the car back from Behrang to KL.. Finally she let me down in the middle of nowhere since owning her for 4 years plus... She is forgived, :rolleyes:

Bro,

Yr bleeding screw & expansion tank looks quite bad. You should change it to avoid the problem, hassle of breakdown & higher repair cost. She's consider durable for the last 4 yrs. Only that she's little bit hurt when u neglected her hehehe
 
points taken bro... likesaid i knew this was coming, pushed her real hard on the way back to ipoh the day before up to 210kmh, thats why she tak boleh than d... lesson learnt...wasted $450 on towing charges, sigh.. all new parts changed yday, now engine breathing better wt more responsive acceleration...
