Mini aquarium? get it fixed. Take out the fog light, dismantle the metal parts, then wash the inside of the fog light with dish detergent with the help of a tooth brush, otherwise moss will develop in it real fast. Then let it dry under hot sun and fix it back...u will get a "newer" fog light then :) goodluck

On the subject of chopshops, where are the well-stocked ones for E36ers in the Klang Valley?

There are various, however the price and quality differs from one to another. I have seen some half-cuts in some chopshops in Klang Valley, namely San Hin in Jln Chan Sow Lin, various in Puchong area (can't recall the names), Mun Lee Auto in Puchong, etc.

If you were to read through magazines like Motortrader, you will get to see a lot of those shops advertising :)

Goodluck

My contribution to this thread,

Replaced my tired old absorber with Bilstein B8 last saturday.
Parts purchased in Singapore -Eng Soon.

Front RH and LH Bilstein B8 - SGD 270 per piece.
Rear RH and LH Bilstein B8 - SGD 160 per piece.
Upah pasang - RM 150

:top:

My e36 had a maintenance service last Monday, list as following: -

Brake Pads front - Textar - RM175.00
Fan clutch (2nd hand) - RM150.00

Idemitsu Lubes 5W-40 - RM97.00 * 2

Have a feeling that the 1st two items are a little too expensive, any views on this? Thanks.

Schedule: Service at 165,410km in September, 2008.

Service interval: 5,200km

Workshop: Techno Auto Services, Rawang, Selangor

Status Summary

At this mileage, the car was springing a bit of engine oil and gearbox oil leaks. The right-side low beam bulb was spoilt. The car was losing coolant every few days from the reservoir tank but coolant volume seemed to stabilise after the tank cap was changed. Workshop was asked to check cooling system and all rubber hoses as a precaution.
