Brake pad sensor at RM48 is pretty ex. I bet I can get a cheaper one for you next time.

hi chairoger... i know memang mahal sikit.
anyway, have got someone to do freelance for me in future. he is a mechanic at this same workshop. good at what he is doing. actually, he quote me cheaper for disc brakes, brake pads and sensor, but have no time to go to his place, based in cheras and only available during weekends.
anyway, you got jalan for any new bmw parts. planning to have few old parts to be replace slowly...

Hi Geoffrey Lee,
How much are those engine and gear box mounting?
the last time I was advice by AB to have them changed.
my 3M tint is also started to peel off on the edge on the rear window and also the rear windscreen. guess the life span of tint under our tropical weather is about 9-10 years

Cheers,

My ride is 318 M43 engine (Auto)
Engine mounting (2units) RM140 x 2, Gearbox mounting (2units) RM45 x 2 Labour is RM180

I know of a place to have your window retint and performance of the tint is as good as V Kool.. RM500 whole car with 5 year warrenty. (Greenish) KIT Accerso Shop at Kuchai Lama. (Elite Cool)

Thanks for the feedback.

I guess the mounting for both our cars are the same.
RM500 for a v-kool tint sounds tempting, Elite Cool is the brand? Might check out in Penang to see if any shop has them.

Cheers,

RM500 is not V Kool.. but something almost the same performance.

hey guys,

I recently bought a E36 328i 97 - being newbie I need some advice from you sifu's out there for the following:

1)Any recommendations on where I can my ride for a full service? (1st service after purchasing the car)
2)Where I can get my hands on the service/user manual? (Didn't come with the car)
3)And where i can get the car key duplicated (only 1 copy came with the car). The key has a RFID sensor in it and I was told I had to go Auto Bavia to get a copy made. Is this the only way? has anyone go through this route and how much was it?

Would appreciate any suggestions

any bro here can help me the location of naidu (jalan gasing) the air-cond guy. Thanks in advance...

it is behind the EPF (KWSP) PJ branch opposite the Universiti Hospital, once u see the EPF building there'll be a shell station behind it & there u go naidu is at the back portion of shell

1)Any recommendations on where I can my ride for a full service? (1st service after purchasing the car)

- Optimum - Kg. Kayu Ara - PM if you need direction or HP number. Many say many things, I had to learn it the hard way.

2)Where I can get my hands on the service/user manual? (Didn't come with the car)

Browse through the forum, there is a thread on user manual download link. If you cannot fing it, PM me your email add. Only issue is that the file size is 3MB.

3)And where i can get the car key duplicated (only 1 copy came with the car). The key has a RFID sensor in it and I was told I had to go Auto Bavia to get a copy made. Is this the only way? has anyone go through this route and how much was it?
- Suggest you to go back to AB. Have not heard of other places where they can duplicate.

Cheers...
