haha, i've experienced this more than once at a few workshops...i know how it feels bro...that's how it is lah, most people tend to judge by outward appearance...

U rite bro,but dont judge the book by its cover,Why that i saying this word,Because maybe the persons that been treated that way are somebody which is Datuk or Tan sri,So nobody knows rite?Maybe Just drive cars like us to keep low profile and humble down to earth.But in his garage got plenty of nice cars.So who will rugi?

Changed fan shroud - RM190.00 (brand new)
Changed leaky water hose (near to the passenger side of the engine block) - RM38.00
Changed rear brake sensor - RM18.00

My usually smooth engine became a vibrating machine. Went for a check and it was the ignition coil. The six pieces had not changed since their day 1. Changed it but not really happy since it is not like the ori squarish type.

Ignition coil = $160
Oil Cap = $40 because the rubber in there already worn out.
Workmanship = 30

my windscreen cracked last month sbb aku parking bwh pokok nangka . then i went to worksyop at fasa 1 bandar baru bangi named ALONG AUTO SERVICE . i decided to change all worn out parts . here it is .
windscreen - 650,clips and glue - 130
rear brakepad - 175 Brembo
rear brakedisc - 175 each
aircond compressor - 650 new
motor starter - 280
gearbox mounting - 245
power window motor - 330 driver side
absorber link - 145 each
labor charges for all jobs were RM350.

i never change all stuffs above so i dunt knw was the price ok or not . huhu!

I dunno total how much. But i know how many bushes you will need to change for complete suspension overhaul. Try to get all parts from Lemforder, better than Meyle. Be prepared for a big hole in your pocket :wink:

For 525i type rear subframe:

2x subframe mountings (biggest, vertical)
2x pitman arm (dogbone)
4x trailing arm bushings (horizontal, 2x each side)
1x rear axle mounting (front of axle, same direction with longshaft)
2x rear axle bushings (rear of axle, horizontal)
2x sway bar rubber
2x sway bar link
4x CV joint dust cover (only replace if broken)

all except the sway bar rubbers, links, pitman arms and CV dust covers will need to be machine pressed.


For 520i, 525i front subframe:

1x center tie rod (get Lemforder, but mine got TRW stamping although taken out from sealed Lemforder plastic bag)
2x tie rod
2x upper thrust arm
2x upper thrust arm bushings (get E32 750 bushings, part number end with 607, green color clips, sturdier)
2x lower control arm (get aluminium wishbone, made by Lemforder)
1x idler arm bushing
2x sway bar link
2x sway bar rubber

upper arm bushings and idler arm bushing need to be machine pressed


For E34 with V8 engines, sorry i am not sure because i never own one.
