Hey thanx Fabian..been having headaches on what car to buy to replace my e60.Excellent find, already called them and car still available. Will head to the showroom tmoro as they're closed today.

One question tho..anyone know if the pre-LCI tail light can be changed to LCI ones???

If i am not mistaken this car is at Zaibi Motor in Bangsar. If yes, go and liaise directly with Kenneth Soo. If it is not, then you can let me know and I can get Kenneth to call you as he is having a unit of sedan 335i Le Mans blue year 07 from BMW UK approved used car. Selling around RM 335k or RM 338k.

i think u shd not buy car base on the salesman's attitude towards u. its better to buy the car that u want... bimmer818, i am sure audi is a very good car. i was contemplating the same. my fren, who has one, keep on "racun" me to get one instead of the bimmer.. but.. i want to be entertained, not just taken care.. so a bimmer it is.

but whatever it is, enjoy the cars, we paid for it...

I never went into a BMW showroom in KL, but I went to the EM Glenmarie show room last year and they were really attentive, even though I was dressed in t-shirt, 3/4 shorts and slippers. I walked around looking at the cars and I think I was approached a couple of times but I said I was just looking. Finally, I had a question so I approached a lady and she called another lady salesperson. I asked about the S4, but at that time, they were only selling the A4 1.8.

Also, try growing a mustache and a short trimmed beard. I noticed got a lot more "respect" from people when I kept it for a few months. haha!

Well buying car based on sales advisors attitude is lame. You buy car depends on your feeling, whether you like the car or not...

Audi is going up drastically nowadays, and could surpass BMW. The A4 Quattro is no doubt, a very good car. Everytime I look at it on the road, I'll drool like hell. In fact one of my neighbour have an S4 in white and to be honest, I'm falling in love with it. But unfortunately, for whatever the reason is the 3er still my top pick. I heard that the service cost for an Audi is very expensive and resale value is quite bad.

This is your choice, if you pick Audi, you'll have style but if you pick BMW, you just can't ignore the driving perfection that it has. Active steering or not, it handles like its on rails. I don't really mind of not having a sunroof since Malaysia is already very hot, that it's kind of useless to have it. Also take note that the E90 is already 5 years old while the Quattro is only 2 years old and the Quattro might have a slight advantage over the 3er.

Your call, as these are just my opinions by the way. Enjoy what you have ;)

EDIT: Try to go to either Sapura Auto or Ingress Auto for better services I believe ;)

The only thing BMW got is the dynamic feeling of the car. 50-50 weight distribution that AUDI lacks. The rest I'll mite consider AUDI.:listen:

I heard the Audi 1.8 TSi Quattro is a good buy- beats the 320d in the 0-100 century sprint. What do you guys know about it? I believe it costs 288K.

I'd stick to the 320d..so far still the benchmark in it's class.Recent Autocar comparo pitting the e90 320d against the new S60,the A4 B8 and the C-class shows that the 320d is still the best.

i am no salesman... But dont' we all judge people by their outlook? At least the first impression...

I have heard many stories about how one dress down to look at fancy car and when doesnt get the attention they go away complaining blah blah.......the classic story is the ah pek riding bicycle to buy mercs in cash....to me, these are attention seeker. I am sure they go around telling people how people look down on them and then how they get back at them by buying from someone else blah blah blah

if you want want respect.... Earn it!!!!!! How? For a start, dress approriately (note: Got nothing to do with expensive)

me? I dress down to look at cars because i dont want to be attended when i am not ready. Then if i am interested i will go up and ask for information. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, too often the salesman will entertaing me even when i dress down (slipper and shorts). This make me uncomfortable.

hi, agree with u bro...

Some salesman are really good & some are really sucks. Nevertheless this must not effect on what car ur buying. Recently been scouting for cars & mostly I quite dress up & of course with my bimmers. Some they treat you like ur nobody or even no nothin bout cars. I dun expect VIP treatment but at least give some respect ie not giving attention to question or talkin on the HP all the time. Only when they got my name card suddenly change attitude. Basket. Thats why I dont prefer car salesman but of course there are some good & honest one. At any point customer is our salary cos I'm a salesman too:top:

I believe that wether the sales person is good or bad, it shouldn't influence your decision. With a little data mining with the power of the internet, the forum, friends etc we should and most likely know what car to buy. To me, we only see the salesperson once or twice anyway. Thereafter, more important is the attitude or knowledge of the service centre person!

hi....actually i also have a same experience with bmw sapura jln tun razak :(
i think they only entertain people who are looks like have lot of money....
i just 26years old & just wear shirt & jeans...nobody approached me...its about 30min i in showroom...nak kata org ramai xde la ramai...then i go to Autobavaria Sg Besi...also the same thing happen...until i approached 1 chinese lady sales advisors...i say i want to pay down payment for e90...then barulah terhegeh2 layan kita baik2...siap bg makan dan minum lg....
actually bmw is my dream car but sales advisors make me feel unhappy with bmw service...aiyaaaaa.....dont judge books by its cover lorrrrr.....me also in sales line....customers always rite.....at last i buy E90..but i didnt buy with that lady....i come a week later & i want to see who approach me 1st then i buy with him....hehehe

WOW!! bro, your name card (very big title) must have carried a lot of weight for the salesman to suddenly changed attitude.

But sometimes I pity them..the salespeople...they only make about 2K for a 320i sale...and sometimes when the customer drives a hard bargain...they have to give up 500MR or so from their commission.

We are trying to drive our people's (including the BMW sales people who work even on Sundays!) income to a high level economy...like Singapore/HK...so please don't squeeze them too much. They can't even afford a proper place to stay..don't even think of them being able to buy a brand new BMW.
