...For information of all readers, Audi is selling very well. If you walk into their showroom in Glennmarie, most of the showroom cars are already sold. In Germany and Australia already overtook BMW as top seller. In Malaysia, they spending millions to put up new showrooms and upgrade service centers.

Okay! Just to share how well Audi is selling..

Audi sells 31 cars in Dec'09 and 435 cars in 2009, BMW sells 301 cars in Dec'09 and 3,564 cars in 2009:

BMW E90 sold 206 units in Dec'09 and 2,003 units in 2009, a lot more than all Audi models COMBINED! Even the new C-Class cannot beat a 4 year old 3-series model.. :D E90 so great meh? VW sold 148 cars in Dec'09 and 885 unit in 2009, I believe most of it are GTI. Not bad!

I hv a feeling Mercedes will get a boost in sales once their BlueEfficiency C-class models are introduced namely the C200CGI and the C250CGI.I'm particularly interested in the C250CGI....it'll be equipped with the new 1.8 turbo engine, giving 204bhp/310Nm but at the same time sipping fuel at almost 40mpg.
Excellent stuff..

Having failed to find a good conditioned e46 330i or an e39 530i Msport and having sold off my piece-of-crap e60,I'm now searching for a replacement.

So,its now down to these models.. Audi A4 B8 2.0Quattro vs e90 325i Msport vs e90 320d Msport vs Merc C250CGI BlueEfficiency.

Sorry, didn't want to start a new thread so since this one is pretty close to the topic,I'll just tumpang here.

Btw the C250CGI is yet to be launched here in Malaysia. Its slated for a midyear intro which might include a facelift..wish they could do it earlier.Price is expected to be around the rm280-290k mark.Dunno how the car will be specced but since it'll replace the C230 V6,I think it'll be in Avantgarde trim.

Tested the 325i Sport at AB in Segambut and liked it tremendously.
Audi Quattro is superb in the wet but find the engine not as smooth as the 6 inline. Other than that, both cars are equally great to drive. Audi has dynamic steering and can custom for me the sunroof and GPS navigation. BMW no dynamic steering nor sunroof and the sales advisor says too expansive to import in CBU. STILL CANNOT DECIDE!!!

I cannot understand why they cannot ship in a bodyshell with sunroof. The sale advisor told me that the first batch of E90 in Malaysia had Dynamic steering (anyone can verify this?) and this was taken out in subsequent batches to have the car priced competitively. He also suggested that I order the option separately from Germany and have AB installed for me. ?????

The first batch 325 indeed has active steering till the 325 sport was launched. One reason of the removal is to improve steering feedback.

Current 323i is equipped with active steering. Try talking to BMW if it's possible to order yours with active steering but it does involve a lot of work since the ecu and etc are also different. It's a long shot;)

If you dun mind the resale value and like more powderful car, then go for Quattro. For me I will definitely go for Quattro over the e90 325i sport which is getting more & more on the road nowadays.

Boss sure ka? Last I checked the 323i sold here also tarak active steering. They opted to bring in the iDrive over the A/S instead, which is a good call.

When I test drove the 325i Sport at AB Segambut, they had 1 unit 323i in the showroom and it does not have AS. I wastold that AS has indeed been taken out and replaced with the IDrive. This is a shame. Anyway, I have advertised my wife's 323i for sale and will definately have to make a decision Quattro or 325i Sport ASAP. Thanks guys for the inputs.

Aiyo now also no more AS for 323, my bad.

Drove the 323 with AS and I was contemplating to get it before decided to get an older car. It is a good car for those that doesn't need the car to moonlight as a weekend warrior :)

I find the E90 LCI 325i msport's gearbox a bit 'stupid'.
It doesn't really know when to change down,
so you throttle a little more for it to change 1 gear down,
then it will change 2 gears down for example.
Then when it changes up, it will change the gears too soon.

I know you can use the pedals, but sometimes you just want it to do it for you.
I think the gearbox needs a better software, recalibration or something.

I'd go A4 2.0T Quattro if I were you. Don't make the same mistake as I did. Haha.

Stage 1, 270+bhp on the 2.0T ! :top:

Forgot to add.

A stock A4 2.0T quattro engine can give you 350Nm of torque at only 1500rpm !
Imagine a chipped 2.0T and not to mention it's 7-speed S-tronic gearbox (DSG).

The 2.0T would be a very nice car to drive.

Optional items which can be added :
Sunroof (RM 10,000). Bang & Olufsen stereo (RM7,500).

888; so when are changing yours to A4 2.0T Quattro since you are like so hard sell on it (in BMW forum) ??? hehehe....

N/A got kick what? Only thing is u need to rev the engine to the sky la... not something u'd like to do all the time, especially for those who drives fast ALL THE TIME.

But like u,I prefer turbo power.Less effort,more speed..once a boost junkie,always a boost junkie ;)

Would love the A4,if only the brand was handled by somebody else..

Looks like for the price a used 335i has it all. The BMW 6 pot and boost. Mild tweaks to make it a Porsche and M car eater :)

A 4door 335i would be the PERFECT car..very very very rare here in Malaysia tho.
