After 162 replies on this thread, I finally got mine done last Friday and I went for V-Kool 55 all round including the front windscreen. I could confirm that tint is Smart Tag friendly and no problem with the remote control when unlocking/locking the car from distance. The heat rejection was pretty good. I felt like wearing a polarized sunglass when driving and it makes the eyes more relaxed. Wife agreed with this.. Hehe
The v kool 55 though is not a grey color tint that i was actually looking for. The tint color is slightly greenish but not as green as the v kool elite. If you have a dark interior car then the appearance would turns to a sexy deep dark tint, maybe because the light reflectance was pretty low i suppose. My car is in light oyster interior and i am also pretty satisfied with the results lah but it definitely look super sexy on a dark interior car imho.
The only drawback now is that my tomtom gps on my iPhone 3GS is no longer usable because the gps receptions could not enter the car. But this drawback does not outweigh the benefit of having a smart tag friendly and superb heat rejection tint. Owh yes, it comes with 5 years warranty of peeling, bubbles or demetallisation/karat.. No summon warranty though as i took the v kool 55 for my windscreen. They will cover for it if i took the v kool elite for the front windscreen but i was afraid with the smart tag issues.

Glad it works for you as it does for both my cars. Re GPS, I noticed my handphone GPS has trouble finding a signal on the old car with elite, but if it acquires a signal before you get into the car (or hold it out the window first) it maintains the signal later when you put it on the screen holder and drive off.

Thanks bro.. Will try that.. Also so far i already pass one police road block in SS2, he never mentioned about the tint, but he want to charge me with the illegal number plate but i managed to talk him off lah.. No sweeteners involved though.. Hehe

eurotuner told me that 3m crystalline wont be smart tag frenly, they suggest to use different type of 3m tint on the front windscreen in order to use the smart tag.. side windows & back windscreen can use the CR.
so far my v kool 55 work brilliantly with smart tag reader. gps wise, need to wind down both side windows in order to get the signal... ;P

Finally I chose huper optik c40 whole car. Done in Mcool Kulai JB.
superb workmanship and service with reasonable price for bmw forums member.
done it with blue colour headlight protector layer, fog light and also side mirror indicator. Add on fog light super white bulb.
all in total damage below rm 2000.
The boss told me that only huper optik tint come with JpJ and trafik saman guarantee. If u got cought just tell them to issue saman so they will pay for u with an receipt. In case if JPJ peel your tint they will do it for u free. Only apply on C40 and above. C30 and c20 not cover. Cheers. So happy. Smart tag friendly.
