Hi Ppl,Don't know if you guys would be keen but thinking about organising an extreme sports gathering at The Mines Hotel for those who may want to try Wake Boarding or Water Skiing.Date: 19th Feb 2005Time 2 - 5 pm (if enough ppl)Venue: The Mines Hotel, BelakongCost: package of RM600 for three hours. Each person usually goes for one to 2, 15minute runs. Evened out, cost may vary from RM70 - RM100+ (time taken for change of skiier factored in, and also depending on the number of runs each person takes)Can be quite fun and thrilling... WakeworldAll equipment (wakeboard, ski or life jackets), boat and trainer will be supplied. Just bring yourself, swimtrunks/ suit and shorts, and a change of clothesCan hang out at nice fake beach after.Need confirmtaions a week earlier (11th Feb) so that I can make the necessary bookings. If not enough people (need at least 5 or 6 min), may not happen. More expensive without package. Think it is RM300 per hour.Takers.....1.2.3.4.5.

So we are looking at around RM100 per person? I am very interested in wakeboarding, but have no experience whatsoever on water skiing, or even skateboarding on dry land! TOTAL BEGINNER

Hey OS Flanker, Expecting beginners anyways.I have even taught people who don;t know how to swim so you should be cool Hope you can make it. It should be fun

Hi Zoggee,

Think they do it by 1 hour slots so it should be RM300 per hour. It is quite tiring however and you may kill yourself doing it for 1 hour alone
