I've read that at least two out of the 25 ordered have been crashed and beyond repair. Not sure how many have crashed though.

One of them pernah ajak race when I was driving to work the other day..but I bo-layan only..cari penyakit namanya tu!
Pernah kena kejar dgn Perdana V6 with flashing blue lights..I cabutz! Nasib baik dia tak dapat kejar.Tapi kalau Evo X susah skit la.

cheap way of telling everyone "i drive a lancer" (a simple exterior job can make you do just that) for a fraction of the original Lancer price....

So after how many decades of having a national car company...we get a rebadged Lancer. Congrats...Malaysia. I hear they make 8 billion ringgit a year from import duty taxes for cars....that's the real reason and no wonder they want to keep this Proton joke going.

btw i think it is not fair to condemn proton too much for this rebadge issue.other car makers also do same practice such as nissan&renault,toyota&daihatsu&perodua,etc to save costs.its not totally rebadge but proton did change the front which i think looks better..and hopefully better built quality too.

toyota owns 60% of daihatsu, and daihatsu owns 51% of perodua. renault has equity in nissan. it's in the family, not rebadge.
