I suppose that this thread hv turned from a grievences thread to a complaints thread. And i assure u, Maraysians have tonnes to complain to, yet no one have the galls to make the change.

I came at arnd 5ish. Go a parking just at the turn of the road towards SO, so i parked there. Later, i got perli for not parking in the designated zone la, u were late la... etc etc. So what, i got my parking, and no one blocked me when i wanted to leave.

I went away at 530 for a boutique launch with my dates, and missed the photo shoot, kena perli for not joining in.

I went arnd mingling, introducing myself. Kena perli for self promoting.

Sigh.... Anyway, the main idea of a TT is to mingle and know other ppl. SO if u dont mingle and make attempts to know the guys or gals, then too bad. The next Grand TT wont make any diff if u still remain as yrself were in the past TT.

I dont mean to flame anyone here, most of the "perli" i got was playful banter, but just to point that u cant please everyone.

So, let not fall into our usual Malaysian mentality. Help out and contribute selfishly at the next Grand TT and make it even more greater.

Just my 2 cents.

Dont point to blame. Remember when u point, only two fingers point outwards whereas three points to yrself.[/I]

5201, really kah? i guess i am also one of the culprit who "sound" you for trying too hard to please people.. ha..ha.. :p :p

No way this is not the best TT I ever attended - I was at 2 TT events graced by air stewardesses :p
:nyehehe:

Obviously at that time, Miss J not present to keep you honest!
:p

Aiyoyooo... this thread's begining to gimme a headache. I do appreciate 2cents' observation that the Committee ought to distinguish what are genuine criticisms which can be workably accommodated to improve future events and silly nit-picks. However, some of the suggestions here would have complicated matters so much that it becomes "unworkable". There were 100 cars. If it's possible to find a carpark to be fully reserved for that number of cars yet it's close to a comfortable venue to miggle and feed, I would sure like to know the place.

Let's not go overboard guys! cos if every event is organised only to lead to such debates on the nitty gritty, then it can discourage people from orgynising events and that would be quite sad!

I also echo DD's wise clarification that ROS registration is an ongoing due process which doesn't impede the organising of great activities such as this. Elwine30 is undertaking this now and we should gib him a huge pat on the back for all the hard work without blowing trumpet. Meanwhile, I think (and this is my 2 cents!) the Committee should designate some of their fellas or other members to focus on planning and implementing a diversified portfolio of activities.

oer ... hehe ... as I have stated before, I don't think I qualify la. ;)

Sorry guys, I started this thread becoz I want to see ways on how to improve and cater for the need of the members for future events. It NOT to undermine anybody expecially the protem committes who have worked hard and diligently to keep this club afloat. My sincerce apologies to anyone who feel offended by comments or remarks make by other.

I wish to proclaim and pledge my support and vote of confidence to present prez, vp and his band of merry committee members of this club. :eek:k:

Hey guys ... there is always room for improvement in everything . I have yet to attend a event so great and fun like this .

Like Al said was the best TT ever ...

So even TT also can be this good ... lets Rock and roll and make the annual dinner an even greater one ..

Cheers to Jaran and anthonyng . This was you guys baby man .. great job .

This is OUR club all of us here lets make it happen ...

All in All it was a KICCK A$$ event guys

cheers :D :D :D :yahoo:

Jarance,
I'm sure that all comments and critism were done on good faith. The main motive behind this thread is supposed to be, IMHO, to gather as much feedback as possible to make the next event a better one.
All said and done, i still think that you guys did a great job considering its our first grand tt. No worries mate :yes!:

Jarance, no worries bro. The Grand TT was good as it is, IMO. I truly enjoyed myself... the food, the carmarderie (did I spell that right?), the gals, the BMWs, the looks of the other patrons of SO. Your intention to get feedbacks from all the participants so that improvements can be made for the future Grand TTs is a noble one. Of course you can expect both constructive and destructive criticisms/feedbacks... but hey, we are old enuff and tolerant enuff (we are Malaysians aren't we?) to accept such criticisms/feedbacks and can perhaps make use of them for the bettement of the future...

Hahaha...no worries. NO topic no talk. No debate no shiok. 2cents, we shall continue this topic during the next TT. Hahaha....don't you guys worry. I'm always discussing such issues with 2cents and 'hard feelings' has never been in the vocab at any given time.

Jarance, no apologies required. It was good of you to have started this thread. Postmortem mah....it's a crucial analytical tool to induce improvement after any important events. :D

me from jb. some shortcomings, i think name tag is too small. maybe u guys in kl know each other but to me, it's really weird to stare at others' ppl name tags just to know your name. u know, sometimes u've never heard of the nick b4. i think larger nametag is better. when i reached there, i had no idea who were kevster, kahar, daredevil, cyclops, hulk, ilovevagina, ilovepenis, iloveanus, mrhartge, jarance, affan, pussy, clitoris, bmchai n etc........
plus not much activities lah.......quite boring after that raining incident...... everybody concentrated on that m3-like 4 door car designed by daiichi.... to me, the car is so ah beng......sorry, no offence..... might as well save some money n buy original m3 regardless 1st or 2nd hand. or transplant m3 engine in your car will do......
also, kl guys tend to mix with kl guys......just like kelantan students only want to mix with kelantan students like in our local universities.....

anyway, i enjoyed the tt n looking fwd to joining more grand tt. small tt cannot lah coz kl is too far.....

yeah... i know it can sometimes be a wee bit embarassing staring at the nametags placed aroung the chest area just to catch a glimpse of the name written on it.... especially it is on someone of the fairer sex. But it is deliberate to facilitate such opportunities :nyehehe: (hmmm.... conspiracy theory)

Hahaha!! Based on Flash's input, as long as got good food, camaradrie, gals and BMWs, kao tim! Good one on ya!

Pssst... call more gals for track day lah. Request them to prepare picnic baskets, heh!

I'm newbie here in the club. Reason i join was from the NST pics i saw quite a fun bunch of people with passion for their beemers.
From a few thread however, i feel everyone very tense about things. Might get shot here for saying this but i dun feel comfortable if there are only complains.
For a 100 or more cars to gather in a restaurant area in malaysia is a feat by itself. I hv been to a few gathering in the US when i was studying there & it was not easy also. But then again those who's been to the states knows the sizes of their car parks or fields. Of they had like at least 20 ~ 30 members helping out with each individual task. From what i gather from the psotings only a handful actually help. Wish i was introduce earlier to the club so that i can attend & see what is the fuss of having a BMW is all about. I would also congratulate the members that gave a helping hand. There should not be any apologies but next event for those with ideas, why not say to organisor then that here what i would do & i'm willing to help to implement my idea. Wont that make the event even better.

Sorry if a newbie said something strong but i join a club not something else.

Zombie,

Welcome and I'm glad it takes a newbie to set things straight! Hahahahahaaha........malu.....oh-so......malu
