We are planning a drive as a precursor to our northern neighbor. So we are trying to drive to Hatyai around July before the fasting month. This is still in planning phase, so inputs are very much welcomed.Destination : Penang / Hatyai or Ko Lanta Date : First half of July 2012

Came back from Ipoh Garage yesterday and know their plan to convoy to Krabi in Hara Raya day-3 for 5 days.

Hari Raya is 19th & 20th Aug (Sunday & Monday), 3rd day onwards look like gotto take loooong cuti woh...4 days

Alternatively 31st Aug is a friday - 3 day weekend, we only have to take 2 days leave (3rd & 4th Sept). For those going solo i think it will be a 'memorable' Merdeka celebrationlah this year :4:
