The MC is planning for a drive up to Phuket in February 2011. The planned dates are between 4th to 9th February 2011. It is a 6D5N trip[/B].

Hotels:
Sakura Grandview in Hatyai for 1st & last night
Baumanburi Hotel Patong Beach for 2nd, 3rd & 4th night

The Hotel Rates:
RM200 nett/night for Sakura Grandview for Deluxe Room
RM350 nett/night for Baumanburi Hotel for Deluxe Room

TOTAL for 5 Nights = RM1,450

HOWEVER:

1. You must confirm your participation latest by 7th December 2010. (you can write the word "Confirmed" next to your names)
2. You must make full payment of RM1,450 on 7th December 2010 to secure your rooms. Failing which, we will not make any arrangements for you.

If you are going, please put down your names below. We will look into the details and announce it from time to time.

I'm making my own arrangements on accomodation. With the family and likely will stay elsewhere. I did not realise the payment angle too!!!

Guys,

to clarify:

the period that we are going is a peak period and we'll need to secure our accommodation. That is why we need you to confirm on that and make the payment. The agent that we are using is asking us to confirm as well as make 100% payment. We have asked for 50% deposit but they said no. The Club cannot pay upfront for all 13 rooms and then later none turn-up..... That is why you need to pay up so that it will be your commitment fee of sorts....

Some may be able to make their own arrangements, but do remember that it is the peak period....

On another note, it will also be difficult to manage if people are staying all over the place...

it was discussed and I regret to inform that we will not be proceeding with this Phuket Drive as we can't secure the rooms. Also it will not be practical having people staying all over Hatyai & Phuket.

So I will be closing this thread after this.
