February 2011 Phuket Drive - Cancelled....

It was advised that once we reach our destination (Hatyai/Phuket/Krabi/Trang) we park our cars in a safe spot and don't drive it.... use local transportation...

We are also looking into hotels with ample parking, so please do bear with it if the hotel is not right smack in the middle of the action OR a little bit out of the way....

Talking about hotels.... though we are looking into it, please understand that we need to cater for all... so it may not be the 5 star you are so used to, nor will it be a 1 Star chicken dump.....

Also during that time of the year, availability is an issue as well as cost.... It may cost around RM200 to RM300 per night (i was told). Or maybe more....

So plan your budget for the hotel, petrol, food, shopping, activities etc..... like you are planning your own holiday....

I would like to stress that we are planning the drive....

Once there, it will be a Free & Easy holiday for you and family/partner....

so, don't go asking, today do what? tonite do what? tommorrow do what? etc....

hehehehe.... sudah sampai Thailand ma.... pandai-pandai sendiri la..... hahahaha

Once we cross the BORDER, PLEASE PLEASE OBSERVE THE LAW INCLUDING THE TRAFFIC REGULATIONS ETC....

we don't want any troubles with the LAW over there.... OK?

Also, 2 weeks before the Drive, we will do an inspection on all the CARS going for the drive to ensure that it is in good condition.

So please do check and do the necessary with regards to your tires, brakes, suspension, engine, fluids etc.....

we are confirming it as the "Phuket Drive 2010"

Okay, we have managed to secure the following accommodation despite the peak season over there.... but there is a catch...... (read on)...

Hotels:
Sakura Grandview in Hatyai for 1st & last night
Baumanburi Hotel Patong Beach for 2nd, 3rd & 4th night

The Hotel Rates:
RM200 nett/night for Sakura Grandview for Deluxe Room
RM350 nett/night for Baumanburi Hotel for Deluxe Room

TOTAL for 5 Nights = RM1,450

HOWEVER:

1. You must confirm your participation latest by 7th December 2010. (you can write the word "Confirmed" next to your names)
2. You must make full payment of RM1,450 on 7th December 2010 to secure your rooms. Failing which, we will not make any arrangements for you.

YOUR OPTIONS:
1. Confirm and pay-up by the 7th, OR
2. Confirm, don't pay, and make your own accommodation arrangements
