Yup..well aware of that.I think for us,nothing less than a 6/4 upgrade,Brembo or AP Racing. For normal use,the standard ones are adequate I think. But if u love to drive the nuts out of the car all the time like me,an upgrade is adviseable.
Our roads are full of idiots who've got no road ethics,no lane discipline and abysmally poor situational awareness..those brakes will come in very handy indeed.[/QU

sound like the brembo or AP is work car it self it really fast enough .sometime we only concern how to increase power or upgrade suspension we also should concern how to keep the car stopping.

Guys, are there lowering springs that are specific to Sport spec cars? Eibach,HR? Any ideas?

Try out eibach pro-kit which i have been using it on my previous ride e90 325i. The drop is nice and the ride is comfortable. H&R is too stiff for me.

The H&R is more aggressive and lowered the car a little more than the eibach.

But match to proper shocks, the H&R is always good :)

DY,was ur e90 Sport spec to start with? If so,I assume u've paired the Pro-Kit springs with the Sport spec absorbers? How much was the lowering IN ADDITION to the Sport suspension? How was the handling, body control and ride ie was it a good match?

AL,are HRs a good match to Sport spec absorbers? I've also heard that HRs have a higher spring rate thus a more aggressive/stiff setup? I'm already finding the standard Sport setup on my car aggressive, especially when riding the infamous 'waves' on our roads, affecting the rear occupants very badly.I notice also Sport spec cars are lower in the rear relative to the front of the car.Not to my liking. The Bilstein B12 that I had on my e60 was better, lower slightly in the front.

Fair price of recond e92 335i

Need you guys help. Thinking of getting one.

What is the fair price of recond 2006 and 2007 UK spec 335i ?

Is it better to get a 07 than 06 ?

What to watch out ?

Thanks in advance.

I need to replace my front discs..they're warped.

Anyone knows where I could get slotted front discs for the 335i?

Check with Keong Bestness...I ask him not long ago for my rear crossdrilled type but he says only for 335i ! ! Brembo disc have sound during braking, so he says better don't use.

jsut my 2 cents experience on brake system, when upgrade to 6/4 pot brake, remember to choose a good/high temp brake pad too. braking from 200km and dowm, heat generated is high. if brake handle not good enuf, ABS kick in. the more it kit in, brake disc koyak faster.

my Rear brake pads left only 2500km !!!!!!! any recommendations ? 335i E92.
