Since you haven't gotten an answer... keep the button pressed for 3 seconds and it'll be deactivated. To reactivate, press once.

Most electronic buttons have multiple functions programmed in the control module by pressing once, keeping them pressed or pressing simultaneously with another button. But if you're not good at figuring out these things yourself, it's best to read the handbook. Otherwise, you may be missing out on many functions that come with continental premium cars. Eg, you won't know that you can switch on the interior lights from the outside without unlocking the car, and wind down all 4 windows at once, or wind up, and how to disable the boot unlock button when you hand your keys to a car jockey, etc. Many useful functions are available in your Bimmer.

actually did press slightly longer a couple of times before.. maybe pressed too long, so it didnt work.. biasa aa, trial & error..

tried it again after read your advice, works.. thanks a bunch.. heheh..

The depreciation on a brand new E90 isn't negligible. And those savings can go towards modifications that would make the 335i an M3 killer!

Agree with schwepps. Nothing beats the fun, the pleasure of the new leather aroma, the assurance of 3-years maintenance-free service at our beg & call...of owning a new car! But to each his own. It's not a bad idea too to buy a used 335i but there are risk involved as we will never know the history 100% and hence, that fear of always 'waiting for some shit or sound to appear' in that 2nd hand car. You have to be prepared to sweat blood & tears a bit to get the car up to our perfectionist standards. And if you don't have the time nor the effort to do just that, I'd suggest u just go and buy a NEW car and sleep well for 3 years!

Well unless a lovely 2nd-hand E92 M3 appears at my doorstep at a can't-say-no to-die-for price, then I might be persuaded to go 2nd-hand hehe...

Cheers.

I'm with you gilajazz. I would go 2nd hand for a weekend Porsche Carrera 4S and 10th hand for a mint BMW Isetta. :) (Dreaming of when my kids finish college)

But for my daily drive, nothing but a new and virginal 3er.
