Sudah silap pilih itu icon...
It's 7" TFT LCD touchscreen monitor, china made. From eBay. Cheaper thn urs..

nice work bro.

Maybe should consider utilise the blank space for:-
1. USB ports
2. ON/Off button plus volume knob
3. Reset button

what type of carbon Fiber did you use.

and since it is custom made, you should have tilt the screen to prevent the glare from the rear windscreen.

Good work Skinhead, and good suggestions from Jarance. A push-start button will be nice for the space.

bro jarance n iandaddy,

i will add in the carpc on/off button later. its important to have this to be able to manually turn on the carpc if required. the plan is to use the existing on/off vol button . . as for the glare, im yet to install it in the car, but since its custom bezel, it can be tilted to a certain angle, but not tht much

tq

For me, turning on the carpc means turning the key to positon 1, also have a disengage switch when don't want it to turn on (when working on the car - GT1/others, car wash, workshop etc). Reset button is a must! for me Garmin mobile PC is very ill-tempered :14:

wut happen to ur gmpc ? hang most of the time ?

Yeah you will notice the glare problem once it is installed in the car. I've almost solved my glare problem by tilting the screen, screen protector and tint. The only glare left is the one from front windshield shining from the top, maybe a hood would solve the problem.

Picture of mine before and after tilt.

Yeah recently it is very ill-tempered, even spoilt some demo session. Maybe need to reinstall.
