sorry to hear that bro.

something bad happen to my wife too. she was in the traffic light stop near to the smart tunnel. a motorbike stopped beside the passenger side, smashed her window and took her handbag.

luckilly she only suffer some minor cuts on her arm.

if i see any snatching, i will chase them and bang them. i'm prepared to total my car for this. these bastards all deserve to die.

Bro,
What car ur wife using? and her handbag? LV or other fashion bag?
Is ur car window tinted?
But i suspect if ur car have tinting the window would not break so easily as i tried to break E34 525i window with a stone few attemps also failed.

I suggest u install the safety glass tint. It wont break easily. Will only start to crack after many many times of knocking. Please install this to your wife or daughters cars.

And sooooo sorry bro for your house break-in.

sorry to hear about the bad experience, but luckily nothing happen to both of u. it will be great if u can post some pic of your damage door, at least we know what method they are using. what type of door or lock u r using for your bedroom that they are unable to get in?

Sorry to hear your nightmare stories, most important is you and your family is safe..................kereta can buy bro, so jgn sedih

they deactivated your house alarm? oh god! even having alarm is not spared?

i used to lock the front gate with a padlock which is safer but is damn irritating when u pressed the remote and the gate wont open and u gotta get down fron car and unlock....etc...

i think from now i need to lock the front gate again...

if you have a GPS tracking device hidden in your car, you might still be able to know the last location of your car b4 it went into the container...

I'm so sorry to hear about what happened to you & family this morning. Crime rate is going up and everyone (see today's papers) is saying that the current economic crisis appears to have bottom out...security issue needs to be addressed and prioritised even far more important than the BM v BI saga..i don't see that many police cars patrolling on the road these days. perhaps we need to recruit more police personnel?. We read about mat rempits, drugs etc etc..Is this the price we have to pay???. I feel sorry already for our yound chidren and future generation.

So sorry to hear about what happend. Glad your family r ok.

Dunno is it appropriate to post this, but anyway, just wondering in the case like this r those tracking system/GSM immobiliser, i.e. Captor (www.captor.com.my) will be useful? or at least can still track where the car is, to enable to do something about it.

its sad , yes lucky its just car , that money can buy and me and my wife are unhurt.

even the police told me its not safe anymore .now we go out we scare of rempit , car park, i read some other thread that some bro gas intake panel was spoit ,because we cannot leave the car unattended at petrol kiosk, if leave key ppl will drive our car.

the crime getting worse and worse, more rampant in my USJ 11 alone there was total 6 case this month .

bro buzzlie , i did not pad lock it , looking back now will have spend some more $$ on renovation to turn my beautiful to fortress or jail ? , this remind me about a friend in brunei who who convert his house to look like jail.

i guess that the price we pay when our country cannot even provide assurance of security.
police scare of rempit and bad guy not the other way around. Our little neighbor singapore strike fear to thugs around the county and yet most of the police personal in singapore are from malaysia.

Dont be alarmed . Not all locks can be picked with that Pick Gun, I lost a couple of keys, and it took the locksmith, almost an hour to break the lock pin. It was a double lock set ( the kind that you have to turn twice to lock or unlock the door) and it cost me RM 180 just for a new pin barrel ( not the whole lock set).

Bro,

My gated community also had a spate of break-ins recently. Now it has subsided. The likelihood of break-ins in a gated and secure community is a lot less.

My driveway cannot accommodate all my cars so the gate is wide open at nights.

So far touch wood, nothing untoward has happened.

if the police can protect us in our own home, then the gomen should introduce laws like in the US. give us Handguns :). then the bastards would think twice about breaking in to our homes. even snatch thieves will think twice. the problem now is that we are perfectly defenceless when targetted by these scumbags. Just imagine: if ur wife/daughter is alone driving she is basically defenceless against any attacks from these buggers.

as i read this post..i m getting scare n worried... somemore usj 11 and usj 9 r my territory le...:(... and 6 cases this month? all beamers?

btw...u hv pets at home? like a big garang dog?

I will be so forward to say that I totally dont agree with you on the liberalization of handguns ownership.

If Malaysian cannot hold their tongue, how are they to restrain their anger. Even in the US, the anti-gun movement is growing in the light of senseless killings.

I certainly hope you are just ranting here.

While handgun is a bit too much of a liability, I suggest placing a speargun under the bed and shoot those low life bastards when possible. Just make sure your master bedroom is secure so they can't hold you up first and make sure your kids don't know where you hide the toy.

Arming one with handgun is actually not a bad idea, provided a detailed background check is performed beforehand....but then you'll have to deal with some $$ loving officers...bugger! If criminals can get one easily, why can't the good citizens get one too as self defense? If you have a gun, make sure you frequent the shooting range so you'll not shoot at someone else, other than your target. I had 3 handguns when I was in the State and I can't explain how secure it made me, though crime are not that rampant as compared to bolehland.

Most "so called" senseless killings are triggered by motives, but robberies are mostly random......and I will not hesitate to shoot these MFs if given a chance, especially those lowly purse snatchers....even beggars have more dignity.
