Bloody monkey of a junkyard car..... (forgive my england).... At 11:30 pm was out but already driving home thinking of putting on a nice movie before going to bed...... But the tada!!! I drive indicates in yellow "engine temperature high, please drive at moderate speed"the 1 km later!!! I drive yells!!! "engine overheating. Please stop engine and call the nearest service center"Thankfully BMW Malaysia was so efficient and even told me not to pay the tow truck dude anything and let AB bear all the costs (Again not Astroboy).....At 10 am this morning... Nice chap from AB namely Simpson... I even called him Bart Simpson (jahat betul)... and told be that after a thorough inspection on my Baby Bluie, the found that her bladder was bleeding and needed a replacement. From the way he described it, it sounded like he wanted to charge me but he informed me that it was just and initiative for him to notify me before any work is done....So yeah... crap... 3 years old car that passsed 72 point check and recently just came out from AB from servicing got her bladder to burst.... Thank god i wasn't driving outstation or out on a date...:eek:Still aside of me being the only one that had his E60 water pump bocor in all Malaysian BMW history, I would like to commend a job well done for AB and BMW Malaysia people for being quick and responsive. They even mention that I probably could collect my car by today... (Nasib still got UDM for annual dinner....) if not drive lorry to Annual Dinner..... :( Bravo!!!!!And this goes out to BMW Manufacturing!!!! We bought BMW for the lifestyle and quality.... Please give us our money's worth and not Proton parts..... :thefinger:

bro, having to top up 1.5l of water indicates a leak in the cooling system.bring the car in and do a pressure test.....

my kancil never needed ANY top up in my 3 yrs of ownership.

i bought coolant from shell petrol station and pour. before buying, i wanted to get the anti rust coolant but there's a condition to use it. must not add water so i decided to buy another coolant. hope everything is fine

i suspect my e60530i coolant might have problem. checked water level and it's like going minimum after 2-3 weeks of not fueling water or coolant solution. futhermore, the coolant cap can't 100% closed vertically even but the cap is turned maximum clockwise to close. does your car have the similar problem?
