If you work in Dubai and you want to look like a parey (Filipino) drive an M6. Nanti tak pasal-pasal kena kutuk. If you want to look like a real professional expat, get the carrera 4s. All my friends in Dubai drive Porsche. They even had their names embroidered on the head rest - all the way from Stuttgart! This is what I call "style". If I were you, skip the carrera 4s, go straight to GT3.

In Dubai cars are cheap. If you can afford a 3 series over here, you can afford a Porsche over there. But, you are driving an X5. 4.8 summore!!:rock: I think, with your standard you can afford a Ferrari F430 easily man!! No joke. Our Ringgit is getting stronger against the Dirham. So, there's no reason not to buy a Ferrari. There's no road tax in Dubai but insurance can be quite expensive. If I am not mistaken approximately 2% of the price of the car. But then again, overall cost of ownership is a lot cheaper than our country.

Overall cars are really affordable in middle east..i have seen a row of F430 and Porsche parked at Malaysian Embassy in Abu Dhabi during Raya open house and yes its driven by our fellow malaysians, mostly working for etihad or emirates and also in the oil industry.Maintenance and service charges is expensive though but I guess buying a new car u wont go into that much..

Safri if i were you,i would get a Porsche..Anyway i drive down Dubai every other week mostly..maybe can meet up...cheersss

Have the 997 while u are in Dubai, enjoy it with easy access to parts/servicing etc

Then if u ever return to Malaysia one day, get the M6

they're are cheap, though cars are becoming much more expensive these days coz of euro appreciation vs dollar. cost of insurance is more expensive than kl - i paid close to RM12k for the x5 4.8l. all cars come with 5 year warranty etc and petrol is of course cheaper over here.

i've moved to dubai since feb and am planning to take advantage of the cheap(er) car prices here....currently considering either an m6 or porsche carrera 4s. test drove the m6 over the weekend, the carrera will follow. what do you guys think?

If for me I will get the Lamborghini LP560-4:rock:~!!!!
