Any recommendations on where I can go for interior work? Some of the interior is worn and the plan is too eventually re wrap the seats and the armrest

Maxu, welcome to the E38 world. Congratulations to your recent acquisition.

You can try Central Cushion in Taman Kepong. Quite near my house. Some member here have used their services. Just give me a call when you want to visit them.

Thanks Vincent for the recommendation. I should hopefully pick up the car this Wednesday morning when I am back from Singapore and the transfer paperwork has gone through.
Would you be free on Wednesday? Was thinking of taking the car to Albert to do a thorough service and wear and tear maintenance of gasket seal, hoses etc that were noticed by my mech on the first inspection of the car before I purchased it.
I'm so excited:) keep dreaming about the car - cant wait to finally get my transporter and be part of the E38 world :)

max, i would be doing the same if i bought that E38. i only go to ah kit near subang airport. did a 320CE and E36 with him.. superb. why don't you come along with me tomorrow afternoon? want him to take a look at my E34.. needs new leather too.

Thanks Mizhan - will only be back from Singapore Tuesday evening and then need to settle everything with Asrul Wednesday am before taking it to the workshop and getting the car serviced and fixed up. Will then be heading to Penang for a few days so my timing is a bit tight. Nevetheless pm me your mobile and I will give you a call when I am back in KL

Hi Guys, thinking of getting a 728i yr 2000. Body, interior and engine look and sound fine. Has navigation but has a UK CD, do you know where I can get a Malaysian Map for the 728i? Also the digital display is not showing all the digits or details. Any where I can get this fixed? Overall, any inputs on this car? Thanks

intro on newbie section dulu la brudder...

sorry folks (mizhan)..didn't know there was an orientation to the forum! Anyway, own a S320 (old one 95). Ride and comfort was there but accidently saw the 728i for sale in the used car lot. Decided to enquire and went for a test drive. Now am seriously thinking of trading in the S320 for a 728i.

RMSAV, not an orientation but a proper place for newcomers to introduce themselves. Nothing unpleasant. Merely new forumers are expected to introduce themselves in the Newbie Section using the template provided. Helps us get to know you better quicker.. then we can go shopping for E38's ;)

Noted. How do I get to the newbies section. Went through all the headers could not find it! Help?

Max, just give me a call on Wednesday. The servicing part is higher priority than the seats now that you will be going up North very soon.

This morning was at Albert's place. What a sight, 3 E38 there. One 740iL with a 2JZ engine and two 728i's.

Last night I received a SMS from one of the senior member here who has also jump on to the 7 series bandwagon. Welcome to the true enjoyment of driving a fine UDM.

In his words "The E32 V8 is an awesome car. So much torque. Pristine condition. Almost fell asleep driving"

Nice to see the 7 community growing.

I agree with you 100% - servicing is the higher priority - will give you a call Wednesday then.

Max, JPJ Wangsa Maju is very efficient these days. If the buyer or seller is present and all documentation are inorder the whole process ownership transfer can be completed within 15 - 20 minutes.
