Hi Guys,Just wondering if there is difference in the companies? Seems like stock of cars is controlled by BMW Msia which they login through a portal to check on availability, unless they already have purchased few cars in hand in anticipation of the sales. Also even after you've purchased ur F30 for instance you can service any authorised BMW Dealership so just wondering in what is the difference anyway? Is there more discount or just purely based on preference ?

You have to be crazy to purchase from AB Glenmarie. Its a place where nightmares are made. Stay clear of that place.

i second that, stay clear of Auto Bavaria Glenmarie its sucks big time!!

Ingress is a great place. The people there are good. Quill I have never been but feedback from forumers is good. Screw Sime la. Just don't buy from them.

How do I put it? Ok, what happens at Auto Bavaria? You get taken in by the sales person's attentiveness, put up your hard earned dosh and when comes time to service, discover AB's aftersales is just not what you would expect. As someone puts it, it's a freaking nightmare and brings new meaning to the word "thuggery". Out of desperation, you turn to your sales person who promised the sky and stars before you signed on only to discover he or she's just not the same person. This is the reputation they built for treating customers like scum. Have they changed? I dunno. Gave up on them a long time ago.

I have had a relatively good experience witn Ingress. Got an F10 and F30 from them despite 5 cars from AB before Ingress existed. I would be inclined to give Wearnes a chance coz the Dealer Principal, Jimmy, was formerly from Ingress and he made Ingress as good as it is today. So, I expect Wearnes to be up to the mark and maybe even better coz you know lah, new dealerships tend to go the extra mile in building customers.

F30 is my first BMW and my SA looks like not customer satisfaction oriented compared to others car dealer SA. Last week went to AB Glenmarie to feedback about the car the technical person keep talking about others rather than to my feedback about the car.

Heard good input about Ingress.

well I am getting one from Quill PJ soon. Being told that car should arrive today but due to PH nothing could be done. Given 1% discount but "tint" may have to pay myself...can't say much about the service and not fully tested. My SA is not talkative but sufficient. I am yet to see if he tries to be funny and hope no nonsense all the way...

Somehow had heard the negative perception on AB before, that's why didn't go there - actions result in reputation for sure. Wearnes is in Segambut? Didn't know exactly where, was lazy to locate. Quill seems decent, so just popped in and a friend also recommended the SA. So keep fingers crossed.

AB was very secretive of where i was in the waiting list. Despite booking in the weekend of the launching of F30 in Mar, at the end of June I stil didn't know exactly when i can get my car with my preferred spec.

Fed-up with their excuses, i called Ingress. My F30 with my preferred spec was delivered to my office within the same week. The SA arranged for the purchase of car regn no. of my choice at a reasonable price, got the car released by BMW and delivered to Ingress within 24hrs of receiving my deposit (it wasn't ready stock), chased the bank for loan approval, transfer NCB, and also did tinting.. all within 3 days. I got daily whatsapp progress update including pictures of the unreg car arriving at their premise, when the number plates were affixed and windows tinted.

Oh yes, i also got discount and some free merchandise without much haggling.

I am impressed. That is what I call a proactive customer service personnel. Share the name of yr SA, I wld be glad to give him a try if I happen to get another car.

I got my misses F30 from Quill. No bad experience, but my SA is a bit too junior, so I hv to educate her more then she can advise me, hehehe. But overall they gave me a good feeling, and they even called me to bring my car in anytime to fix that ASS coding complimentary after I making some noise to my SA. ;)

Juz pm'd u the name & contact no. of the Ingress SA.

As for your experience with Quill.. they gave u an overall good feeling.. which included the pleasure of educating a junior female SA.. hmm.. perhaps next time i shld try Quill.. :4:

Also do be careful of buying AB premium selection cars, paid deposit for one particular make n year and a demo car at that too, haggled like crazy and the final price I got when compared with another dealer the next day it was 19k cheaper, cancelled my deposit and it took them one month to return my deposit, these fellows think the name Auto Bavaria somehow carries a premium prestige compared with other dealers,I will take Ingress anytime...and I did!

Quill is good. I paid a deposit after the first test drive, cancelled order after a week, took another 3 test drives, and decided to proceed, with the order. All with the same SA, in on of the drives, she was not available and the sales manager took me out.

Service center in Puchong also has a good team.

Not so impressed with car..

I believe AB is the only dealers gives corporate discount @ 6% - 7% (if you are the choosen one, working with Co. that received fleet discount from AB). So if you're the few lucky one, go with AB. If not...

Based on general kakis remarks the dealers' rank are as below,

1) Ingress
2) Quill
3) AB

Nevertheless, this is quite subjective, as different person has different experience and expectation. As prudent buyer, make sure you visit all the three dealers and judge by yourself.

Ingress too provides corporate fleet discounts where it varies according to the companies you belong to...

Done. Happy holidays!

What about AB Sg. Besi? Same issues? Or just AB Glenmarie? Well, AB Glenmarie has the largest collection of BPS cars... many inclined to get BPS from there.

Don't know if I'm at liberty to say this but I got discount and free tinting from Ingress and like _M_ said, it was all done without much hassle. The people there are friendly, and that helps a lot. I believe Wearnes has the same culture and Quill is ok too when I checked on a BPS Z4. As for AB, the sales people can be nice, but their aftersales is shocking. I remember one incident when my service kena cut queue, of course I complained and was instead told off by the Service Advisor, that the car that cut my queue belonged to a certain VIP. In this day and age, they can do that. Made me feel like a commoner in a Myanmar military ruled junta. Same thing happened when I booked a "showroom" car. Yes, deposit paid only to be told someone beat me to it. Later, I befriended that "someone" and he boasted his uncle is some big shot and laughed at beating me to the CBU car which had the specs I sorely wanted. So, this kinda practices by big corporations made me sick. There's a need to support the smaller guys who work more for your money. That's just fair.
