Guys, sharing is caring but keep your computer virus to yourself.

Sorry to b33mer and steven for transferring some virus during the setup. fugowitz was one of the last person to install
but his computer got anti virus. His program can run properly from the same program in my thumb drive.

So it either 1 of the earliest guy who install using my thumbdrive. My laptop also detect the virus when it was plug in and
the antivirus remove the virus. Please check your computer.

I have tested the program with the adaptor on XXX OBD-1 and it works. However, not many module were found.

I have also test the program on digitalpunk e38 with the adaptor (7 series) but it did not detect any module.

so far have not got a chance to test it onE36 yet. If anyone can it to work on e36, please inform.

Collected my scanner 3 hours ago. Got it to work on my E46 without any problem. I have downloaded the software earlier. ALready set my remote to have acoustic and optical acknowledgement when lock/unlock. Cool

Yes , will do. I have all the installer. Just need a Ediabas/INPA interface or so say the carsoft one can work too just can't identify the car.

IanDaddy, from my research carsoft and PA soft interface are different where carsoft is a direct KKL interface while PA soft one has microcontroller inside.

Yes aidilj, I mean to use the Carsoft interface with EasyDIS / GT1 no PA Soft if I can get one to test otherwise I think I will buy an Ediabas/INPA.

That'll work then, sorry for the misunderstanding. I'm testing my own interface but not enough time to debug. Taken the carputer out to install INPA.

Dont wanna bring any virus back to office.. later whole server karbooom becoz of me ^_^ anyway, my system comes with lastest version of Norton security. Btw, my scanner is up n running but dont know how to use la.. hehehe. dont know wat to do with all the readings. and dare not to make any changes or simply click. >.

i did not reinstall the driver, i js install the PAsoft prog that i downloaded from the website u posted.

Last night I think my MicroSD card got a virus in it, but it was only detected on the first computer that copied Jarance's program from his USB stick (guy sitting next to Beemer early at the start of the TT - forgot your name already too many ppl last nite). By the time I put my USB stick in his computer, Jarance's USB stick has already been taken out so couldn't be mine that infected Jarance's USB.

I think the program did not recognise by window 7 registry ... hence the meassage. Need to download the program (P.A. Soft bmw scanner) from the website and run exe installation files.
