I found a quick way to cut 10% of my fuel cost.

I switched from shll vpwr to petrns; instant bump of 10% of mileages covered, with no discernible power loss.....

was doing 20sen per km; now about 18sen per km; or 12.xx l/100 km.

count me a happy dude!

gotta keep one's mind open to try new things... u never know what better alternatives are out there....

Petronas?.... whatever happens to Shell's claim that their petrol gives you the extra mileage? Bullshit promotional gimmick, I guess.

c-square,

My sentiments exactly! We are so brainwashed by advertising that we make our choices based on which brand looks impressive, instead of actually trying out the options.

I wud not go back to Sh@ll again after this recent experience... and wud be open to try other products as well...

At least you guys tried it...I never even thought about VPower when I got the ride...How much is a full tank, lee36328?

wkwoo69,

full tank RM82-85, depending on how long my red light has been on...

very heavy on the wallet....

i typically need to top up every 3-4 days.....

gave up!

Guys,

I posted this at another thread. This what I got:

Rm140 (pump twice) = 601KM (2 trip to KLIA and 1 trip up genting with 4 kerbau size adult)

RM92 = 361 KM (Cruising some more)

So after conversion: 16.4L/100KM and 17.9L/100KM!!!

Damn.

Ah, but at what speeds?

My wife's Citi gives about 7L/100km at 80kmh. At 120kmh, it is about 10L/100km (the same as my babe). At 140kmh, it is worse than my babe at the same speeds. So it also depends on the speeds you are driving.

Shit!!! I think mine is the worst. I can only go around 370KM for a full tank! And my full tank costs me RM80+ ( Shell and not V-Power! ) . I heard that Projet gives better mileage. Anyone have any ideas?

This really kill you!!!

Yaloh,

What to do. Any suggestion to reduce it? Will try petronas for my next pump and try to persuade my wife to bill to her company.

Otherwise, have to let her use it (she travel less than 5km a day) and i use her wira ( I do 60km a day). Only weekend will I take it out for a spin.

Sigh.... looks like the BMW is just going to decorate my parking lot.

Gud idea... a way to save costs. Was thinking of doing the same with my wife's Citi... but then she is rather scared to drive my babe due to the "constant" problems... :D :D :D :D

If u don't mind, i can recommend one good product to improve ur FC......it's money back guarantee.

And yes. My E34 is using E28 brake disc ( or could be M E28 disc). Not sure why the previous only did it last time. More braking power I guess.
