BMW Scanner 1.4.0 vs BMW INPA K+CAN

Hi bro,

How are you doing lately? Still go to Seremban once a month. Maybe yumchar sometimes?

Just would like to ask your opinion on BMW Scanner 1.4.0 vs BMW INPA K+CAN. Think you have both I assume? Which would you recommend btw? Am in the midst of deciding. Leaning over to INPA but not sure if GT1 can be installed?

wingzee..do gv me a buzz when ever you drop by Seremban, i am strongly recommended for those beginner like me always using Scanner 1.4.0 compare with the BMW INPA K+CAN. Yes i hv both diagnostic tools from our Master Jarance GB and i still remember the master did mentioned to me before that the Scanner 1.4.0 was good for the Secondary school and the INPA + CAN was for University lever.
FYI i am still not manage to download the software for INPA+CAN to my laptop ha..ha..

Haha. Just ordered my INPA+CAN cable this morning! Seen how my mech operates the GT1 and it seems pretty straight forward. Just reason I went for INPA as it's more of a long term investment since can be used on E90/E60 as well (if planning to upgrade in future) and covers more features + live data.

More like university professor level. Installing BMW INPA is already quite scary on its own.

I hope I did the right decision by taking the plunge for INPA. :x

Bro wingzee, yes its the right decision. The same INPA interface is also used for GT1 and NCSexpert. You will have loads of fun, just post here if you face any roadblocks. Cheers.

Wow thats cheap. When I bought it through GB last time it was around RM190-200.

Don't forget the adaptor for the older type round obd connector for added compatibility.

Jarance, I might do a GB for this soon. Any advice? Also what is the best shipping method? Looking on their website, cheapest is UPS, second cheapest is DHL.

Any advice related to import taxes?
