Bro, get it from sinosells & opt for DHL. Ordered 2 units last time & arrived within 5 working days. No taxes or whatsoever. Hope that helps.

Hehe 2 units is okay bro, but if a box came in with 20++ cables customs might be a bit suspicious and a bit greedy too. Lets see what Jarance has to say from experience.

Ohh true also. But come to think of it, it's only cables after all right? Tak kan mau tax on cables :D

They'd like to tax on your blood if they can.

If I remember correctly Jarance asked them to declare as 'computer cables' last time.

The last group buy that I arranged was more than 20 units of scanners. No tax was incurred when used the correct code.

However, got some tax for the adapters on the 1st group buy coz came in as computer cable.
I absorb the extra cost coz there were some saving in the freight charges.

Car accessories also will incurred tax as well. You have to use the correct code to minimise the custom taxation.

So do your homework first before proceeding and not have the consignment stuck at the custom.

cable is taxable under the custom code. There are many manufacturer of cables in Malaysia.

So car accessories cannot, cable cannot, what can we declare it as?

Lotus fruit can?

See the resemblance:

Can fool them or not? hahhahaha

No, you cannot fool them!

Think outside of the box. One side connect to laptop and the other side connect to car.
Which is more recognizable? The USB port or the D connector?

and study more than 10,000 custom code which suit the device to quote.. (hard work isnt it?)

Mine had the same error as previous owner removed the rain & light sensor on the windscreen. Got the module, plugged it it and no more error.

You may want to check on that.

Came up with an error, when I selected "coding" in the RAD module.

Trying to code the region for the radio, following a tip from Anaksarawak, from last night's meet.
Any pointers guys?

You have to go in the setting menu to change the region, i've posted a thread on the ICE section on how to get access to that menu.

Haywire, thanks for the tip. I've seen that thread and it doesn't cover my player :(

Anyway, just setup a deal to buy another unit (local) from a forumer, sorry soon-to-be official member ...:top:

What model is your radio. For E46, you dont need any special tool to select the region.
I presume you want to select the region for the frequency band selection..

Yeap ghostrider's unit is Jap spec which frequency ain't the same as the local ones. Was thinking to change the region so the frequency band will change.

That's correct. I've tried to access via the buttons on the player but "AREA" is not one of the selection on the menu.

The BMW Scanner can do the change as well, but I guess, if the player itself doesn't have the setting, then the scanner probably won't be able to access what's not there.
Just had a glimmer of hope, when I heard that the BMW Scanner could do it .... oh well .... :hmpf:
