FAQ - SMD LED for E36 & E46

Here is a DIY for the E46 Angel Eye. I couldnt have done it better.

Here is a simple way to remove the front cover to install the Angel eye.
To remove the bottom lid, it would be better to remove the side cover (turn) first and
then press the latching clip to release it.

bro where is the location to do the diy ? i'm at kelana jaya interested to get this LED's since mine is yellow rings- kinda sux hehehe..and where is the TT ?

I usually have TT at Borneo Forest Sunway or Paparich PJ or Klang TT at Lotus.

We decide the place to DIY later once the general buyer agreed on he place. Maybe a carpark with shade.

I DIY angel over the years.

My first attempt at angel back in yr 2004 using 2 LEDS.

Also for information ...........The E38 and e39 also can install the angel eye as the ring size is same as E36 ........But only applicable for those without the original factory angel eye.....:top:

looks like it...kinda worry its like those CCFLs where the inner ring is smaller than the high beam and looks awkard. Any issues in getting a diameter measurement from the supplier?

Ade if you think the inner ring is smaller and awkward , then it would be better to order the E36 size.
E36 comes with rings that are the same size. E36 rings are the same size as E46 bigger rings.

Then it will be bigger than the headlamp?..looks like urs fit quite flush...i'm fine with it. I saw some CCFLs that dangle around the high beam...fugly

I need some picture and info of the SMD LED angel eye that you would be providing for the group buy.

Q: Picture for E46 and E36.
A: Done ...The packing is similar the one u got last time ....

Q: Specification colour.
A: Only white is available

Q: different colour available.
A: Not plan to bring in cos demand is low

Q: Delivery time after placing order.
A: about 2 days

Q: other info that you think might help.
A: 2 months warranty , sorry cos warranty too long for the group buy price ....

Just another small update.

I just found a nice place to do the DIY. The owner of the place said that we can use his place for free for the demo.
The place is located at Lot 79, Jalan SS25/32, Taman Mayang.
