This is a carbon fiber sticker. And no it wont spoil the wood panelling at all. Once ur bored with it u can peel it off right away, and polish the wood trim and it will look as good as new. Since so many ppl asking. Can i put the guys no at this public forum or i will be breaching some policies?

Cheerioz!
Go ahead to share!

hi guys;

really really sory for the late reply, ive been away aborad for work and really busy. Anyways, this is the number of the guy who did the carbon fiber sticker. This shop acctually is service and repair center. They do excellent job in servicing gear box. I just did mine and cost me RM350 (if not mistaken), meanwhile can get the sticker done also.

KEV : 0123788918

last time i asked Racingfit sunway, they charge rm700 for wrapping e60 interior panel.

yups, ask them before too, but they were charging me 1k at that time. And not to mention it takes 10 days, ridiculous!

Some shop & car dealer think BMW owner print money lar. Nowadays not easy to find honest dealer. Thats why I rather deal with direct owner or buyer.

Nice information! Btw, I thought all E60's are on HID lights? If not at least those 05/06 models and above are equipped by HID? Please correct me if I'm wrong, still new to BMW's

Yup :) I thought all E60's are equipped with Xenon headlights (HID) out from factory?

Mine is a 2004 and its with factory fitted halogen. The headlights are "reflector type". Most 2005 models are with "bi xenon" headlamps which are "projector" types. So, when you try to fix xenon/hid ij reflector type of lamp module it will create light scatter and boy its real iritating at night for other drivers

sometimes bmw funny la. even old model like E36 comes standard with projector lamp

Today i learned another thing. When i wanted to change my rims, i sought after information from everywhere. Now im having 245/35/18 front and 275/30/18 as my rear wheels. When 1st the rims and tyres were instaled i knew it looked weird coz there was too much gap between the tyres and the fender.

I wanted to increase the tyre size (to 245/40/18 and 275/35/18) but the guy at the shop told me that it wouldnt fit. I was at a michelin dealer and got pilot ps3 fitted. Still unsatisfied with the looks of my car i decided to do a lil more home work.

To get the lowered effect if i install Eibach sport sprimgs for rm 1200 means the ride will be a lil bumpy. It will be better if i pair eibach with msports absorbers as they have bigger hydraulics piston compared to standard bmw absorbers (tats wat d mech told me). Since its a daily use car i figured i shud just wait till d absorbers go bust.

Alternatively, i can change to bigger tyres. What the michelin dealer DIDNT infom me is that the reason he so called to me the tyres wont fit is because michelin DOES NOT PRODUCE 245/40/18 and 275/35/18. But YOKOHAMA (sdrive) actualy has the size i want!

Moral of the story, ask around several tyre dealers before mKing a decision :p

Lol!! Learn by paying extra $$$ huh? Yup.. Been there, done that!
When I changed to 18" breyton race gts rims.. The shop that sold me the rims didnt tell me that the offset wouldn't fit my E60. Only 19" & above could fit perfectly (a fact that I realized after paying the bill). What to do? Hafta spend more $$$ buying spacers so the rims could be fitted onto my JOY.
I think that E60 with stock M-sport suspension looks good enough. The only thing that you need is to invest in better anti-roll bars such as h&R or Ultra Racing for better handling & cornering :top: Eibach, Tein, Bilstein will lower ur ride & more bumpy.. Some places with steep slopes & your bumper will scratch against it (something I really hate). And don't go for 275 tire unless your rim has width of 9.5! 18" rims normally are 8.5! wider tire will slow your acceleration. If you want your rear wheel to protude out near the fender.. Get 20mm spacer (Breyton is good). Same goes to your front wheel.. 20mm :D you will notice the difference. Oh yes.. Also get Goodridge brake hose (stainless steel) to replace our stock rubber brake hose ok? It's a one time investment. Btw in case you do not know, Goodridge is OEM manufacturer (brake hose) for Brembo.

I've learned the hard way!

For tires.. Try Goodyear Assymmetric F1, Dunlop Sport Maxx or Pirelli.
The first 2 cheaper than Pirelli. For the high end, settle not less than Continental

Hi bro thule, look at it!!! Sakit mata laaaaaa... See d gap between tyres n arches? Aihh
Fyi. Front : 245/40/18 (8.5) back : 275/35/18 (9.5)

I have a question - if I buy a 530 Hi-Line and want to lower it like M-sports, which springs should I buy? What are the good suspension/absorbers for the E60? Is Koni popular in this case?

Btw guys, what's the actual road tax price for a 530i? Some say RM1K+ and some say RM2K+?
