FAQ

Can we have a FAQ or frequently asked question..There seem to a lot new postings with the same question.Such question like:1. what the best tyre2. change transmission oil3. eratic idling speed4. angel eye5. foggy lamp6. not enough power7. good/bad workshop8. Does it cost money to be a member of forum9. what is TT or HHSuggestion that the FAQ are complied or moved to a FAQ for respective categories and stick at the top of the relevant threads to avoid it being shifted to the back. What i'm noticed is lot of members didn't make a seach b4 post up the question....... h34r: That why lot of topic actually discuss b4.......Maybe what shld do is set a guideline especially for the newbie nn teach them how to use "seach" function....

An FAQ section would be good. The search functions can be explained within the FAQ as well... Personally if i saw an FAQ sect, I'd start my browsing there...

Isn't that what 'stickies' on top of each subject page is for. Also maybe when the newbies register, there can be a short tutorial on the use of the 'SEARCH' function as many don't know it exists.

Yeah you maybe right but if you observed that a lot of newbies who are not familiar with the forum have a tendency to post new thread when they cannot find the info during the search function.

Some of threads which are technically informative are actually push to the bottom of the file due to its "age" or last date of posting.

Sounds like a good idea. Hey Jarance, why don't you prepare a little template and propose to Tom so he can consider it seriously and make changes to the forum. Anyway, TOM, it's time to change some pictures lah...boring liao.
