As usual, very interesting write up bro wobbles.keep it coming ehhh. and FYI, the rides look complementary to each other..simply superb looking BMWs..

Thanks bro JFT63, appreciate the kind comments. Dunno if you noticed the heads up display in the 4th picture - the words "COMMONWEALTH AVE" were projected onto the screen, and they seem to appear on the bumper of my F02 in front. Super cool!

Just saw it bro...really an awesome feature bro. i remember talking to an ex student who drove an msport e60 with such feature...simply marvellous

Thanks bro serenum. I was trying out the auto parallel park system, and the car started to park itself, but I didn't have enough faith in the system (yet) so I disengaged the system halfway, and took over the steering. Guess I got a bit confused as to where the steering orientation was, so the alignment was a little bengkok... Hehehe

wow, awesome feature you have there. no wonder your steering abit senget/bengkok. kinda heart breaking to see such a beautiful car to park like that. haha.
judging from the parking space, your car is quite long and shall i say same length with your 7?
love the LED headlight and appreciate if you can take night shot just to see how the LED headlamps in action.

Hahaha. I will take some night shots for sure, but I'll need to find time to sneak out of the house for a night drive without wifey catching me in the act hehehe. I can also take photos of the adaptive swiveling LED headlights as well - another bloody fantastic feature worth every penny!

It's exactly 318mm shorter than my long wheelbase 7.

4894mm for the F13, vs 5212mm for the F02

Haha, I saw my name.

Nice writeup/review of your F13 & F02 bro.

Wow, those groomers certainly did a very impressive job on your F02!

Btw, the 7 does look pretty superb, especially with those rims. Certainly way better at filling those wheelarches compared to the normal 730/740 rims.

PS: Epic water beading too! :adore:

Just an update on the F13 today ... I took it out for grooming (finally), and took along my Nikon D5000 DSLR. This is a shot of the Head Up Display (HUD) in full color, giving me turn by turn instructions:

And, my rims the way they should look, after the grooming session:

No brake dust, no rust, nothing. Just beautiful, clean chrome silver 20" M-type 373 BMW rims ...

Pre-grooming shot (with flash turned on) showing the iridescence of the Carbon Black - blue, purple, black - it changes hue according to the sunlight! I had my 'home lights' turned on for this photo :) - love those LED lights!

Again, same shot, now without the flash - can you guys see the slight change in color & hue @ the lower right corner of the photo (where my front apron/valance is)? Gosh, the M-sport kit really changes the whole look of the F13?

Finally, the whole works: the liquid metal "wet" look after they groomed my car from 930am to 430pm.

And, just to highlight how the color changes hue, one final shot:

Bro Wobbles,

How much does the whole grooming cost? are they using PPS? and where is this place exactly?

Thanks for the info in advance.

Regards,

Bro Morrogan, the company is called Revol Carz Makeover - and they have 2 branches here in Singapore, one in Ang Mo Kio, the other in Toh Guan. I use the one in Toh Guan, because it's closer to where I live. There are 2 basic PPS packages - I signed on for the Diamond Brite package, which is their top of the range one (thus far), and it cost me $1,100 for 5 sessions of grooming - that's a rather substantial discount, as I signed both cars (my F02 and the F13) on. Normal rates apparently were about $1,400 for 5 sessions of grooming. The basic version (which is already very good) is called "Gold Shield", but I don't know the cost of that.

However, on my F13, the company experimented with a NEWER "Glass Coat" product that is superior to their top of the range Diamond Brite, in that the car retains its 'wet' glossy look for longer. Revol Carz Makeover were kind enough to let me have the superior "Glass Coat" product with no need for top up or additional charges, thus, effectively, converting my Diamond Brite package to a higher range package FOC. They are very professional about it.

Note, I don't work for Revol, nor do I have any shares in their company (I wish I had, because I can see a LOT of potential where these guys are going - and they've been around for nearly a decade, so they're definitely here to stay!), I'm just a very satisified customer giving my feedback :)

congrats bro wobbles. U truly deserve the ride. I can only envy.

Just noticed that the Shark Fin antenna housing on the roof top is missing. So this F13 relocated the GPS antenna to somewhere else like the open top?
