Tell me about it man...
worst environment to drive is in rain because is very sleep inducing.
Most Likely your passenger will be sound asleep, and when you look at them with saliva drooling out... is very difficult to keep awake!!!

Most of the time after long distance travelling, my occupants are very much refresh except for me....huhuhhu

I think the salesman quoted wrongly. i have also checked on my friend's F10 528 which share the same engine N52N.

Sent my car in for minor rectification work today. The Service Adviser said the "T" in N52T engine stands for turbo charged... However, he is not able to tell me the difference in BHP between N52N and N52T... There you have it, the local F02 730Li is slightly more loaded...

I dont think 730Li is turbo charged. the SA simply hantam saja. bro your car is made in Thailand and i can hantam the T stands for Thailand, ha ha.

Oh? Are the 730Li's in Malaysia imported from Thailand? Remember, I was very worried that my 730Li would be from Thailand as well, but RealOEM.com put my fears to rest, hahah! Mine's from Germany :)

And yah, +1 what Bro EL118 said. AFAIK, all 730Li models utilizing the N52 (and its various variants) are all Normally Aspirated Engines.

The turbocharged ones came with the N54 & N55 monikers.

Somehow, I do not think BMW would use an alphabet to denote the country of origin in the engine unless the engine was also produced in Thailand... Could that be a possibility?

No worries. Just one of those things where you try to get to the bottom of it...

Not sure if Bundy is reading this and can give us a heads up???

hey loved the write up . i still currently have the e66 730li and in a few days the new f02 730li will be coming ( both my old man's, cant afford one right now .. still young haha ) . have to let the e66 go tho. what a car . simply amazing . hard to believe the f02 being better.

Hi bro sniger - welcome to the forums! Hope you enjoy the E66 for now, and the F02 later! Both are absolutely AWESOME cars to drive & to be driven in!

Bro Wobbles.

Reading few of your thread on the F02 and Your soon coming power rocket 640i

your next car should be this

BMW 760LI.

UK price just under 100k Pounds..

in Sg, cant even buy a 4 potter basic entrance level 520i....

Bro CK :) good to see you back on the forums :). The truth is, when the time comes for me to trade in my F02 (probably in another 4 years time), we'll probably give up the 7er for good - will be a little too old and clumsy to maneuver, even with the IAS in place.

Then, we were thinking of a smaller replacement - either the new X4 as an SUV, or maybe the LCI F30 by then. No 760Li sorry hehehe

Bro sniger - maybe you can convince your old man to transfer the car over to you? It would be way cool, to have 2 generations of 7ers under one roof!
