I vote F30 320i based on personal experience for quite a few reasons but I don't think I'll bring this up here. Rather share this via PM. BTW, I drive a F30 328i now but had a E92 323i for almost 4 years. The E90 323i just doesn't cut it in terms of engine performance, which means the driving enjoyment is far less. If this doesn't matter, you shouldn't be looking at a BMW

Roads in Sabah and Sarawak aren't as good, there are a lot of gravel roads and timber logging tracks. Worst still in Sarawak towns like Kapit, Song are not connected by roads to other towns. Many villages and longhouses have no road access. We are worst than America in the 1930s. Therefore 4W drives are very common, in fact it becomes a fashion statement to drive one landcruiser that cost > RM300k, typically driven by timber warlords and their kakis..Not to be outshone, "lesser" Sabahans and Sarawakians from Government servants to oil and gas professionals make it a point to own at least one Hilux!

Whatever it is RM300k landcruiser defintiely still feel comfortable even if you run direct into potholes...F30 can't beat that

I love my 530tds. its a diesel, but drives just like a petrol! in fact, i smoked a lot of more powerful cars, must be the diesel tq kicking in. 335i was like a proton saga la, dissapeared from my rear view mirror.
