yes, it's the same. But at the end change to sports line bcos if the sports seats. Darn, have to wait longer to get my car :(

How long is the waitlist for the 328i Sport? Haven't tested the car... maybe I should.I love my e90 but longing for more comfort, maybe age catching up.Looked up the spec for the 328i and I must say its mighty impressive compared to other similarly priced cars.

Oh yeah,do they come with adaptive dampers?

Reversing the car out from car park, I notice it has the a reverse tilt side mirror. Didn't notice reverse camera though.. I think don't have.. :

I think all BMWs which come with memory electric seat will have this feature if you put the mirror adjust switch to the right.

On some other German makes e.g. VW or Merc or Audi, some will come even without the EM Seats but you need to set the position manually. IIRC the W203 C class was like: Set the function ON using in the (scroll to Convenient Feature)
1.Put the gear in R
2.Adjust the tilt position
3.Confirm by pressing the down arrow for like 3 secs? I can't remember exactly as it was way back in 2008.

it was similar for VW I guess but for BMW as what the UK BMW forummers said only available with EM Seats option.

cheers

There is a waitlist, some colour combinations such as alpine white will be longer than others. You could be waiting for 2-3 months at least. The 328i sport does not come with adaptive dampers.

Ok thanx Jason.

I didn't think so too regarding the dampers.I'm asking cuz when I visited Ingress to have a look at the F30,the SA insisted that it does come with adaptive dampers.Either he was ignorant or he was trying to pull a fast one.Glad that is sorted then..

i doubt it. http://s3.paultan.org/image/DSC_0243b.jpg from here it seems no. i'm not sure if it is actually important to have a headlamp washer especially in malaysia as i know it will magically spoil after 6 years or so. but its a cool feature. currently considering either 328i sports, volvo v60 T5, toyota 86 or range rover evoque. side by side comparison of the specs between the volvo and 328i....the 328i looks so empty.

If I am not mistaken the headlight washer is a US/EU requirement. It comes automatically spec'ed once you select xenon headlights. I agree its a cool feature and yes it will magically stop working once the car is out of warranty!

I think those topics have already been discussed many pages ago in this thread and over many other threads and posts. Adaptive dampers were even discussed in a few post on this page. Do you think its ok to devote a just few post to headlamp washer?

hmm guess that fler just doesnt get it. only mentioned it because its a standard feature on many other cars on sale in malaysia and i'm quite surprised it was omitted from the 3 series. not that it matters. HUD should be included soon in the coming years (typical strategy by bmw malaysia) but adaptive suspension sunroof lane departure warning etc is unlikely to see its day in malaysia until the final months of the car when they try to get rid the last stocks as similar to the cases of every outgoing bmw model in malaysia.

I've been reading the F30 threads just to keep up to speed with developments and to see how the 3er has evolved, and I'm particularly interested in the comfort aspects of the F30.But I'm surprised that the 328i doesn't come with adaptive suspension. It makes all the difference to me if I were to upgrade to the F30.The new C and the A4 comes with it..so it's a bit sad to find it missing in the local F30.
Yes I drive a 335i 4door,which either makes the decision to upgrade easier OR more difficult, depending on how u look at it.On the one hand, going from a 6cyl 335i to a 4cyl 328i is a downgrade thus making an upgrade a big no-no.BUT if I were to wait for a F30 335i,then it'll be easier to decide..question is,how long do I need to wait till prices comes down to within my 'range'?

But interesting read nontheless... I shall be following the F30's story very closely indeed.

p/s-actually,I want the Gran Coupe. But I think it's way over my head:(

I think the 6GC is awesome too and must factor this into my future plans. I can't believe I got a friend who went ahead with a new Panamera (new from Porsche Malaysia but baseline model) for a dollop more even though the 6GC is gonna look more distinctive and is even more capable in 640i guise. Sigh...

Sorry la feel dissapointed with F30 steering feel and 4 pots engine. Buy ///M3 la for real BMW legend

By the way, do you guys feel that the ride is extremely bumpy? I just got back from KLIA and the ride was so bumpy that I almost lost control of the car (Perhaps I am just not used to it yet) :(

I believe what you mean is body roll. The F30 is definitely having excessive body roll, especially during high speed (>140km/hr) compared to E90. The E90 will be more bumpy from my experience.
