FYI recently changes my coils with Bremi. Bought at RM108 each from Stuttgart. Also changed all the spark plugs at 20 bucks a pop.

Initially my coils num 1 and 4 gone due to leakage at valve cover..There missfiring which caused my car hell of jerking...Change 2nd hand valve cover (half cut shop) at RM500, gasket @ RM130 and i just changed 6 coils bought at Bavarian Auto Segambut @ RM90 per piece..Stuttgart quite expensive..I also bought 6 NGK plugs at RM37 per piece..do not change only 1 coil cause it will cause piece by piece gone..change all 6 coils and plugs..u will get the ultimate driving back...cheers

I've changed mine to Bosch S4 DIN 100 for around circa 390-410 ish...can't recall exactly...need to scramble through past receipts.

Yesterday just changed new radiator ( RM650 ,Bav Auto Puchong ) , Tie Rod ( RM150 Bav Auto, Puchong) and 2nd hand nuckle c/w inner joint cone and bearing hub ( RM350 ) But the workmanship charges is RM350 which quite expensive..dame..

On my way to my wife's kampung, play2 with some Jap's machine, cooked my clutch. (this Happened before puasa month)
I can feel the clutch was not biting, and already informed my mech about it. But... I think I should change mech
Luckily I broke down near this village workshop (still had to be towed, thanks to Etiqa). I had done some "emergency" work before at this workshop. The mechanic is brilliant with mechanical stuff. Electronic thing cannot do as he does not have the tools la.
Anyway, finding the clutch replacement for an e39 was a real experience I can tell you that.
Because I need to change the whole complete set, not just the clutch plate. As the whole damn thing was roasted/barbecued literally!! It even had the the charcoal smell I tell ya!!!
It was also the Self-adjusting Clutch (SAC) that requires special tool for installation.
The workshop was quoted nearly RM3k for the part alone, so I decided to find it myself.
Got one shipped in by Suan Huat within a week for RM900:top: happy.

Part: RM900
Labour: RM150
Kereta kena tinggal kat kampung for 18days: Priceless

GUys, just wanna know how do I get the parts number code for my e39. I plan to purchase parts from BA since my mech also source parts from them. That way easier and no confusion on buying incorrect parts

Appreciate the input.

Guys,

Shit happened to me this morning. My door on the driver side wont open from inside and outside. I tried to use the key manually also couldnt get it open as the button dont want to pop up. The other 3 doors are fine. Just the driver side. Is it because of the actuator?

Anyone have experienced this before?

If actuator kaput, u can still hear the actuator sound but it can not release the lock.

Its the electronic thing inside door card. I've changed it last time. U may check my thread. quite expensive as I bought used one but please check on the connector compatibility.

Changed front brake pads (Textar) RM150
Front door actuator RM120
Workmanship roughly RM100.

Less shimmer with new brake pads unless brake very hard.
