Obermaier is ok except that the lady cashier or receptionist.. sometimes she could look so stressed that it made you feel unwelcomed and sometimes she could be so moody that you feel that you are gonna get cheated or there goes my money...ouch!

Until they can find someone to replace her Optimum will be the last place I would go..

i think u got a typo. the guys (they are all guys ) at Optimum are very friendly and helpful.

Zib has corrected his mistake. The workshop he referred to earlier was Obermaier and NOT Optimum Motorworks.

You were right about the spelling Obermaier but Obermaer is not right. I've never been there, only made a call there for inquiry.

Have u check the thermostat? Make sure its correct temp type. If its ok I suspected the driver "thing" is goin up & down causing the temperature irregularity:love:

Thanx for sharing lim...My friend told me yesterday that his e39 temperature shows less than half of the temp gauge when driving at 140kph but returns to half point if driven at 100kph. Was your symptom similar to him bro?

Greetings guys

I Just repaired my 96' 523i with a blown up radiator! Due to the cracked area beside the tank!!

Cant believe its a plastic inside! Lucky its blown up at the workshop when wanted to find fault y my auxilary fan isnt on although the aircon is turned on.. And all of a sudden a stim blown out of the radiator...
