Bro,
Whats the purpose of this arr? Whats the symptoms of kaput'ness coming in?

A healthy gas pressurized spring acts fast to pop the boot up with little force.

What's wrong with your car? You haven't done your overhaul yet?

Just collect the car.

Nothing big deal but mechanic ask for one day to replace the vanos seal. Spend RM2200 in overall bill included the regular service, tie rod, arm bush, steering oil tank, oil separator, few hoses and some wear and tear gaskets.

Labor is definitely cheap.

My first service:

1. Oil filter - RM38.60
2. Air cond belt - RM56.00
3. Valve cover gasket set - RM178.00
4. Valve cover rubber seal RM8.20 @ 15pcs = RM123.00
5. Bleeder nut - RM10.00 @ 2pcs = RM20.00
6. Radiator cap - RM82.00

7. Ravenol 10W-60 - 7liters = RM371.00

Service charge:

1. Oil service - RM45.00
2. Renew vanos seal & do timing adjustment - RM250.00

Total - RM1,163.60

Service tax RM14.75

Grand total = RM1,178.35

zun: why did you choose to use 10w60?

Because Jason of Optimum recommended me to use that grade. Herbert also use 10w-60. Saya budak baru belajar, so just follow them la.. :listen: Is there any issue with that oil grade? I'd love to know and learn.
