Hmmmm, u shud have taken a few photos of the owners in front of their ride. :)

aiyo,

u think it's easy to herd all those udm owners to queue up in front of their cars and hold still for photo???

it was one can do to prevent people from peeing into the river-la, doing top overhaul while waiting for Tom-la (no worries Tom!), harassing other highway users-la (by 'harass', i mean we only waved to BMW drivers or BMW bike riders, local cars bo-hew, unless got pretty girls inside!)....

seriously, it was unruly, but fun.... but actually, good idea, will see if i can get it done next time... the next major TT at Soul Out, mar 5, i think, is a good opportunity...

Perhaps you can threaten scratching their car if they do not line up in front of their cars... but then there could be some jokers "exchanging" cars for the photo shoot. :D

Thanks to all whom make the trip possible.

Good job and "Tabik" to the Leader on the superb job ,Jeff and Fab on showing how to "sapu" corner ala E30 style, and the scary sweeper breathing down my third brake light.
(Imagine he can counted how many LED on my Third Brake light...Scary)

Keep Up the good job..Thanks JB [/b]

Glad that u and everyone else had fun...

Jeff was taking it easy on the way from the Gap to KKB. So me just layan with minimal speed, saving on the tyres and brakes while still having fun on the road....

The real fun was further up in front... hahahha

nice stitch, DD,

what camera?
KonicaMinolta. DX50.

The earlier wasn't good. Here's a better one. Preferably no moving element...that's ideal!

Here's a picture of the deserted club house. Imagine nobody plays golf even on a Sunday!!! This photo was formed by stitched together 4 photos.

Let me do a short summary on the drive.

Those who attended the breakfast:

1) Kevster30
2) Fabianyee
3) Alvin + Vivian
4) Montoya
5) Three28
6) wkwoo69
7) jeffreyewe
8) Alex + GF
9) Mr595
10) Nelsone30 + fren
11) lordv
12) daredevil
13) zaskar + gf
14) bes911
15) hisham - E28 monster

we left at about 8am. bes911 and lordv did not join us for the convoy.

lee36328 joined us at the projet station in Gombak so it was 13 cars heading towards Bentong.

We regrouped after the Bentong Toll while waiting for Tom. This is where lee36328 was shooting away and us waving at passing BMW bikers and any BMW that drove past, including an X5.
Tom joined us at about 10am, so in the end, a total of 14 cars heading up to Fraser's Hill.

We reached The Gap at about 11.15am so in time for the opened gate. Lee36328 and Montoya went back from there.

We had out lunch at the stall and then set out for the Golf Club. that alone took at least 10 mins via the narrow and winding 1 lane hill road.

The photographer from Driven magazine was there to take some shots for us. BTW, they also took some of our photos at one of the corners on the way to the GAP... they might have taken some good shots of us taking the corner.

Since we would be stuck there until the gate opens at 2pm, the tok kok and racuning session started when everyone was lepaking at the reception hall of the golf club.

We took the Kuala Kubu Baru route back on the way down. I guess this is where everyone had fun appreciating the driving pleasure of the UDM. the strings of left-right-left-right-hairpin corners do put a grin on most driver. As for the passenger, 1 lady brought her own pillows and soundly sleeping in the car.... :lazy:

We made the last stop at KKB for a drink before heading home.

Others please do fill in the blanks... no time to elaborate further on the little little fun things we did... :p

Some of them decide to pose for the camera while waiting for our dear Mr Administrator to arrive....ahem.....

Sorry couldn't figure out who was behind three28. And nelsone30, what's your fren's name again???

One for the road....more photos will be posted under the soon-to-be launched BMW CLUB Gallery....

I think that's wkwoo...

Correct. Now my cover is blown! Thankfully, my face is mostly obscured. That's Toh between Montoya and Alex.

Lee : No money for ARB or anything else, unfortunately. Just changed the tires, new microfilter, gas and a/c belt last Saturday. Gotta save up for the road tax / insurance in May some more.....hahaha!

It was great fun, in fact, in think it was the best drive I've participated in! It was a shame more couldn't make it, but there's always next time...

Yup, there is always the next time to look forward to... :D

lee36328, here's another panoramic stitch shot of the club house. This one's better...can't really see the flaws. For the photo to be stitched nicly, have to ensure that the overlapping area is at least 30%.
