A bump on this hopely-useful thread. The first post is updated with remote trigger wiring steps and video.

i'm thinking of getting the remote trigger done, the DIY steps is useful and since im not very good with DIYing electronic stuff, plan to visit motorsport division and see if they able to do the same for me. huhuhuh

If you have the correct wiring harness then remote feature would be easily done, leaving it to the "professional" is also another way. But sometimes they are more clueless than we are.

here, you might need this wiring for your diy.

Jarance,
Thanks for the diagram, is it inclusive of how to activate the remote trigger function?
I just need to activate the remote trigger function since my car already have the angel eyes installed.
I only know how to decipher programming codes. :p

The circuit is for remote trigger function.

Basically, it works by diverting the power via the relay. When the relay is OFF, the power to the angel eye
is powered via the normally closed contact (N.C.) When you open or close the door via remote key, the interior
light glow up or glow down.

When the car is started, the relay is energised. The power to the LED is now diverted to the normally open (N.O.)
contact of the relay. When your headlamp is on, it will supply the power to the LED.

BTW, your CCFL or SMD LED angel eye. It only works for SMD LED Angel eye.

Done my DIY for Angel eyes last week (holiday nothing to go ?:p)

hmmm where to get these relays? can anyone list the exact name cause most electronic shop dont get what im trying to do... plus i dont know if the relay they suggested can work... any ideas??

how much you are willing to pay for the wiring harness + relay + fuse + connector?

errr... hurrmmm... how much isit PM me :) i donno cause there is at least a couple of relays and fuse as well as connectors ive found in the market... not sure if it works though :p

Jarance, thanks for making this a sticky!

xcrave, the relay is normal relay for automotive use, you can get it from car accessories shop. I got mine from brothers. Make sure you get the 5 pins one and has 87 and 87a printed. Because I've seen a 5-pin relay with no 87a pin (but two 87 pin), you need the 87a pin for remote function.

Ok now it all make sense omg... im just plain slow... should have understood the diagram long time ago... cause im confused about the 87A and 2 87... at least now i know what the function is... thank you jarance and aidilj

ha.. ha.. Yeah man! That my car. Maybe i can get a free Angel Eye for using my picture without my permission.

I got my angel eyes installed at Red Zone, Sunway. Originally quoted for RM 380 but reduced to RM 350. According to one of the Red Zone ppl, there's a cheaper version, made in China but sold out. Only Taiwanese make was available, so i did it anyway.
