Jarance, you are the man. Pls give some comment on the reflective portion after using the hot gun. Does it maintain as original or would it bubling or burned. I had seen a BMW reflector that was burned cause the owner using a bulb that are almost double wattage than the recomended one.

p/s: pls do mine once you master doing it. he..he..

Oh problem... The high beam head lamp casing is made of metal but the low beam headlamp is made of plastic.

Try to heat the low beam head lamp just now after a break. The silicon and casing are melting at the same time. :cry: :cry:

aiyaa.. back to square one again... need to experiment again.. One lowbeam headlamp already toasted. i mean really toasted... arr..gggh....

jam and butter anyone?

strider, the reflector is intact for the high beam after the glass cover is removed..

having problem removing the glass cover for the low beam cos tthe casing is made of plastic. :cry:

the toasted one belong to mtek. he have given me the permission to "toast" it.

if R&D is successful, you will be first to know.. ha..ha.. being putting the project on the shelf until kena racun by the young one in klang TT.

what about the ccfl angel eye? I heard now very cheap. cost about rm310 or something around that price. you can share the cost with somebody if only 2 angel eyes is used. I don't mind sharing the cost cos i also want a pair only for my the other eyes.

Now... the heat gun only works on metal casing. Got to find another way for plastic casing, huh?


Have you tried 2 ton glue? I did use it to glue the lose cap at the back
of the casing so far so good holds well trial and error make it perfect sifu J.
looking foward to see the result and janji got light at the high beam let it be anything.
