I guess you're wrong bro....got "thanked" instead!

p/s: know what you're doing, you'll be just fine.

320d hands down but i drive a 325i... go figure..

oops... not in e original list... sorry... cabutz....

For those looking forward to fiddle a lot with the engine, the turbo charged option will offer some interesting horsepower and torque. for the 325, not much more, unless you change the stroker.
A friend just had a CGI was offered to tune the 1.8 up to 300hp / 400Nm. But he thought that a bit ridiculous for an "office" car. Besides, he is enjoying more of the fuel economy and 204hp 300+Nm is just bonus - very tempting.

I personally love the M-sport setup but sometimes wished it could be switchable where the road gets rough. My next car would be something more practical (Q5!!!) and have something on the side more of a project car, a type-R or something to flush all the adrenalin. A bit difficult to have everything in one car ( Another friend actually bought FD2-R as a family car !! and a tuned up DC-2 on the side )

passat cc...the specs list is just awesome. better than the f10 5 series. ok, it doesnt have bluetooth or satnav, but for that i just get a garmin or tomtom....merc c-class is the worse....bloody uncomfortable...audi a4...funny but i felt more comfortable sitting in the back seat of the a5....the a4 felt tight

3 series..awesome car...if u got the cbu, the ckd is just hopeless junk dat ruins bmw's image.

Strong words from u sir. U have just broken thousands of hearts into gazillion pieces and may even land yourself in a lawsuit with such inflammatory and defamatory remarks in a public forum .. :(

The 3 series CKD is afterall the best selling BMW model in Malaysia.

AB is right. Commenting in a forum or blog or even social networking site is publishing, and you can be sued for defamation. Or investigated for unflattering political comments.

Besides what's the basis of that general statement? I've owned several new CBUs and they had the same common problems as my CKDs. One CBU even had a part falling off on me while on the road. All Toyotas are now CBU from Rayong, Thailand. Does that make them better than the previous CKD Toyotas? If not, why not?

well.. should it only be applied to bmw or other brands too? Or we only get sensitive when we speak about BMW??? :)

It should be applied to whatever you say on the internet, not just on this forum. Freedom of speech only applies if a statement or opinion can be proven to be substantively true. I personally know of one recent case of a near law suit over a FB posting by a teenager which was settled out of court.

Labeling someone's quarter million Ringgit treasured ride as "junk" is not any better than labeling someone wife or mother as a whore.

Something must have gone wrong with today's education system or the parents didn't do a good job. He is a victim too, pity the fella... tsk..tsk..tsk..

The first few sentences goes like this..

"..all these while. i fucked up bad. i fell in love with the wrong person. i did stupid things."

I think he knew his problem too..

What education system?? In the old days, an education was to create a person who knew value, as opposed to merely knowing cost.

An education serves only to teach you that you must never stop learning. Or for some, so that they can collect that paper which get them into corporate office corridors - some do fabulous things. For example, I know of a mindless friend who sits at his desk, turning oxygen into CO2!

What would I know, I barely scraped through Form5!!(ah, doth want of uni degree give not then, license for my belligerence?)

Anyway, before turning into some debate on matters PC or non-PC, or unpleasantries like defamation, libel yadda yadda yadda...I am sure that the person in question who made that sweeping statement, one alluding to my little SKD 320i E90 LCI, hereafter referred to as 'Bimba', being lesser than her CBU step-sisters due to inferior construction in Gurun, was an unfortunate, if not misguided remark. And totally not his intention. Right?

If I am mistaken, then I would be more than willing, ecstatic truth-be-told, to allow such a person to display his own largesse, and yes, his magnanimity... by settling off my car loan, perhaps? And hmmm,...getting me a CBU 325i? No need M3. Save some for the rest of u guys. Eh, remember, I asked first, ah?

and wei wei wei....what car did the guy who started this thread get in the end, ah? This thread harder to follow that Aldous Huxley novel and the HK TVB drama la. Miss a bit, or don;'t pay enough attention miust start again liao

Scroll down the blog and you'll see more... Personally, I don't think it's anything more than young people not knowing that the anonymity of the internet doesn't mean they can say and post anything they like.

The case I mentioned was just two teenagers having a go at each other which, as can easily happen, got out of hand. But because it was university admissions season, it wasn't funny because like most employers these days, apps assessors of top universities check out their candidates on the social networking websites. Parents got involved, and then lawyers, and one thing led to another. I know one of the families involved. The kids of that school all learnt a valuable life lesson from that episode last year. That was a real education!

Webcam post is it? :D

the passat CC offers a lot of straight line performance for the money though

Passat CC is a great car.. but that does meant CKD E90 is junk by comparison. Maybe it's an enforcement to his decision that he bought the "right" car, and everyone else bought a wrong car.. :p :D Interesting self affirmative character..

And I find few Passats owner actually has this same interesting character. They like to compare how much more they get for about the same price compare to E90. And they also agree both car is not even in the same segment. :stupid: For the sake of comparison, they just pick E90 due to the same price range. They should compare to Skoda, SAAB and the like.. :D

These folks buy car base on accessories check list.

Oh.. the Passat cc is not even a 5-seater. 4-seater Family sedan. Interesting customer profiling..
