Hi YF, there are two types actually.. One is MM2H, another one is MREP. My one is MREP (Malaysia Return Expert Program) which need to pay GST. It is about 197k for 320d.Yours Faithfully (YF) said:Hey Carl!
Congrats on your new baby dressed in Estoril Blue! Always loved that color! Wished they had this option for the F10.
Yes, ///M badges on the fenders are standard. You might want to remove the numbers at the back and stick non a ///M badge at the back. Looks great.
May I ask,how much does a 320d cost under MM2H program? Just curious.
Another day another drive!
Yours Faithfully.
Thanks bro. DPF @ 20k noted. ATF @ 60k also noted. I read elsewhere on the forums that DPF can be had outside dealers for much less, so will research into that.gimli said:just enjoy your ride bro! the 320d is a great car. hoping to get one myself if economy improves .
BTW make sure to change your diesel filter every 20k. You have to request for the service center to change it. If you don't, they will not change it. ATF should change at 60k, but that could void your warranty....
and from what i have heard, BHP diesel is the best. I don't notice much difference, but i still use BHP as there is one near my place.
So which was the best for your old car?keantan said:My old car for example, you could tell the difference between Petronas, BHP and Shell for example (All RON95).
Based on my personal experience, bear in mind that my tests are in no way scientific and using my butt-dyno :laugh:Quentin said:So which was the best for your old car?
Thanks for sharing!keantan said:Based on my personal experience, bear in mind that my tests are in no way scientific and using my butt-dyno
BHP: Overall most consistent performance when using RON95.
Caltex: Fairly consistent as well but engine runs a little warmer than the other fuels (~3-4 degrees according to car temp)
Shell: Power is good but sometimes fuel quality a bit inconsistent. Used to get occasional knocking.
Petronas: No knocking but drop in power ~10% relative to other brands.
Petron: Avoid this; causes knocking.
Thats my general order of preference.
Hope that helps.
How did you detect knocking?keantan said:Based on my personal experience, bear in mind that my tests are in no way scientific and using my butt-dyno

hi keantan, you made the right choice buying the 320d! Especially since BHP Euro 5 diesel is heading to KL soon!keantan said:Hi Guys
This is my first post here, newbie as well.
Like Carl, I just booked my 320d M Sport (2014) and the loan was just approved yesterday. This is my first UDM
My car is a certified Pre-owned car, apparently owned by BMW Malaysia, colour is Mineral grey. Car looks practically new. Has ~11000km on it.
Funnily enough. I was supposed to be buying another german marque but was waiting for my appointment and decided to head to the BMW showroom next door for a bit of a "learning exercise". I knew when I saw the car that was the right car, kesian abit la the other dealer.
I'm currently graduating from a MK6 VW Golf 1.4 that was problem free for the time I was owning it  .
Is there anything in particular I need to take special note of to make sure the diesel engine is in tip-top condition? This is my first diesel, I bought because of fuel economy and I fell flat for the torque curve (excuse the pun) on the TD  . I'm quite a particular owner and wanna do my homework first before the car arrives.
Its an understatement to say I'm Super Excited [emoji23] .
Also do you guys mainly use the forum here or is there a Facebook page or something where others get together also? (I know there is one specifically for BMW Motorraders (motorcycle))

Friends tell me BHP and Caltex diesel are the best.
I used Petronas for a long time, there was a lots of sludge built up in my intake manifold! - though it may also have been a long due intake manifold desludging clean up due after 5 1/2 years of driving the E90 320d.
I recommend you change your diesel filter every 60 to 80k km. Clean your intake manifold at that interval too. Other than that, switch to Euro 5 diesel when it comes into KL! Join us on our FB page! BMW diesel owners Malaysia.
U read yesterday's CBT write up about Euro 5 diesel coming to 15 BHP stations in Klang Valley August 28th? At open market prices. BHP imports all their diesel because they don'tn have their own refineries here.keantan said:Thanks for the advice. Much appreciated.
I'm shuffling between KL and Penang a lot so will try and pump BHP/Caltex when I'm in KL maybe can go there and back on 1 tank so can just fill up in KL :67:
Sluge in the intake manifold? Noted.
I've heard though that they might be mixing the Euro5 diesel with the palm oil to make it B10 compliant I hope this is NOT the case. I know that the Euro5 diesel sold in JB is already of B7 grade though.
Facebook group request sent.
I'm supposed to take delivery of my car next week :69: . I'm actually working in Penang and I bought the car in KL, trading in my golf so coming down Friday to do the JPJ paperworks
Can't wait !! bro, what's CBT? trying to look for the article. thanks.docrayboy said:U read yesterday's CBT write up about Euro 5 diesel coming to 15 BHP stations in Klang Valley August 28th? At open market prices. BHP imports all their diesel because they don'tn have their own refineries here.
I heard Euro5 diesel is coming to Klang Valley, though I didn't read that specific article. Great news. :rock:docrayboy said:U read yesterday's CBT write up about Euro 5 diesel coming to 15 BHP stations in Klang Valley August 28th? At open market prices. What do you mean? RM1200 for the PPK? Or you mean RM6850 with discount RM1200 so it is RM5650?kennylaw said:Hi Guys,
I was mucking around with the PPK pricing to order and install.. Got a contact from Sg Besi SA quoted for RM6850 with installation.. However, got a cheaper quotation from Stuttgart with about RM1200.. Do you think that is do-able or too risky for PPK?
