Will BSRI void if I change plate numbers

Hi,

Can anyone provide advice please;
I am buying a used F30 with 1 year BSRI left but I have changed the existing registered plate to my plate which bought via tender. Will this cause the BSRI to problem or void?

logically no.the bsri is pegged to the car thru the engine and chasis number.but of crs the SC must be notified.

Confirm won't affect BSRI. I called up BMW Malaysia to ask exactly that. They said BSRI is tied to your VIN number. SC also confirmed that. You'll need to re-register as a new client. Won't affect service record also.
