My ride is a f30 320d modern line & I'm thinking of changing my stock rims to breyton with config of 18"x9jj, 35(ET) but was warned by ingress auto that if it touches the wheel arch, warranty will be void. Pardon my ignorance but I appreciate any kind advise on the following;the new setup is replica 18" breyton GTR but I can choose to either go with standard 8jj front 9jj rear or 8jj front&rear or 9jj front&rear. Tyres will be 225x18x45 CONTI RFTs.I've checked willtheyfit.com on the changes in specs & to cut things short, 9jj front&rear will cause Poke to be 20mm wider. The rest, please refer to the attached pic.Question is, 1) will such new measurements (9jj front&rear) touch the wheel arch?2) will standard 8jj front 9jj rear need to have a wider rear tyres, like 265 instead of 225?3) which model of the RFTs would you recommend for comfort & less NVH? For RM1050, I was given a choice of either Goodyear or CONTI.4) what would be the ideal selling price of my stock rims (model 413) with tyres that's around 80% threadwear? Thanks in advance?

265 will be overkill for a 9inch wide rim, either a 255 for rear or perhaps you can use 245/35/18 for your rears.

If the tyres to touch the wheel arches, you can always roll the fenders but depending on how much rubbing it is but the rubbing will really irritate you.

But the dealer can void the following parts, suspension, suspension arms and parts that connect to the rim. They can be anal about it but of course be good friends with your SA :)

My take

1) will such new measurements (9jj front&rear) touch the wheel arch? - rear no but front would be pretty aggressive and may scrub
2) will standard 8jj front 9jj rear need to have a wider rear tyres, like 265 instead of 225? - 9jj you could go ideally with 255 tyres, 265 would fit as well
3) which model of the RFTs would you recommend for comfort & less NVH? For RM1050, I was given a choice of either Goodyear or CONTI. - Ditch the run flats if you can

Bro, the style 405M standard spec for rear is 20x8.5" ET47 255/30/R20. And it looks like the 8.5" can even fit 265.

Depends on design?

Actually it definitely can fit just thought of recommending narrower tyres for cost savings :p

Can the F30 fit with 265 at the rear? On the E90 my 265s were rubbing as hell and I waste two rear tyres of because it got shredded by the fenders :(
