go register online for group 1.

The R3 cars are not only lightened, but strengthened as well, there's plenty of seam welding on the chassis. Not only that, the roll cage and plenty of bars were put in to ensure stiff chassis, a very important aspect for race cars, unlike my road-going Satria where you can feel the chassis flex with hard suspension...

RedZ4, don't worry about the power, like Fabian said, the lightening already took care of that, but, being race-prepped, I'm sure there are plenty of unseen mods on the powertrain as well. The R3 Satrias are basically no-frills pocket rockets...

LCP,

you mean like this??? So stiff that the wheel lift of the ground?

The experienced driver condition is only for rental of the R3 Satria only. Others can join regardless of driving skills. In fact ladies should join and learn about car control and car behaviour under the limits, it's not about racing.

Zoggee, lifting the inside rear wheels is normal, especially with stiff anti-roll bar... you see that with race-prepped Honda Civics at the last turn in Sepang all the time.

LCP, interested to share the R3? I have told HPC boss to reserve one. I think its a blardy good deal. :)

I think the R3 have sufficient power for the driver to have fun. Chances are mere mortals like us wont be able to utilise all the power at the corners. Nevertheless, a car need not be extremely powerful in order for the driver to have fun. I had fun when I drove my 140hp M42 E36 the last time at Sepang. :)

Tempting... but don't think my driving skills is ready for a race-prepped car yet, will let you know in a couple of days!

We strongly advise participants to join the group 1 then only step to group 2 and 3 before experience yourself to drive the race car. There will be ACW2W (All club wheel to wheel) coming up in July, September & November. No hurry then!

Bundy, I'll give it a pass this time, let me start at the bottom (Group1) with my Satria first. Have just remitted the payment to HPC, awaiting their confirmation.

Here's what I know about the R3 race Satrias, should be plenty of fun... they are 1600cc (presumably for the Super Sixteen series), with custom-tuned intake system, not much info on engine internals though, R3 proprietary-tuned suspension, Alcon (or is it AP) brakes... have fun!

i registered myself for 22 April grp 1...will drive my e36 328i, duno it's okay or not....or else will drive my getz. First timer...blur eh!
