Hopefully will be lower la

BTW I think Autochild has stock of the Pipercross drop in, but the power gains with that will

I really would like to see the dyno graphs.
Please layer the before and after on the same sheet.

Actually i was really wanting to test the Pipercross drop in filter as well but there were not in stock so couldn't do it.

But generally we tried and dynoed in many Japanese cars during year 2002-2003. And in general, most cars will have slight and noticeable power and torque with about 2-8bhp depending on the car. Although panel filter power improvement may not be as much as these induction kits, the improvement is right across the whole rev range.

I am suggesting that the installation of an Alpina chip, Superchip etc made by reputable tuners will not have power gains.

Fact: If you plug in those chips, your car would probably drive slower with possible engine damage. Those chips were tuned in europe. They have a different grade of fuel together with their european climate. It will not work as they claim.

I have a personal friend who imported in a chip for his C36, he ripped it out after installing it.

Unless you get the chip tuned here locally by a guy who knows what he is doing.

Its not the chip, the power gain is based on the skills of the tuner.

So does that mean if you add things like the alpina chip, superchip and all those performance chip made by reputable tuners to your stock ecu there is no difference?

what do you suggest then?

Question:
the figures you declared were from dyno runs were they not?

are you saying that those figures were calculated at the crank?

er, was the engine removed from the car and placed in a jig and dynoed

or

did you convert the on wheel dyno figures to allow for the slushbox? If so, what % did you allow for the gearbox?

was told measurement given to me was at the engine.
