323i vs 320d performance edition

after driving a 323i for 5 months now.. my average FC (i reset everytime i refill petrol) is at 8-9ltr/100km (once per week). As i usually drive to cyberjaya everyday using Elite.. around 110-130kmh is at 5ltr/100km. but during weekend go kl/pj traffic jam it will go up very high (thus bursting my average FC to 9)

So i would say... if u drive long distance/no jam/highway esp if u work @ cyberjaya.. 323i also not bad la.. maybe cause of its 6pot i guess... but u'll cry looking at the FC needle when u stuck in a stupid jam and better just stop roadside LOL (where in this case 320d business as usual)

Just got off the line with a friend who bought the 320d with me at nearly the same time. He was excited and shared with me that he just drove to singapore for a meeting and back yesterday - did 900km with still a quarter of a tank left !!!! I was speechless

:listen: .. yes bro, if you do travel a lot for work, diesel is the way ... :top: .... with one full tank (averaging 110km/h) my return is abt 1K km.... if doing an average of 160 km/h that will be abt 750 km .... and this my friends, is from a 3 litre 5 series diesel engine ... :top:

I want a 6 pot diesel too! Technically the 330d can work in Malaysia with the Euro 2/3 standard diesel here.

9.6l/km is form last time... now this is what i got... 6.6 to 6.8 for at least 3 months now:

the indicator is for kilometeres per litre...so you're getting 16L/100kms... if 9.8km/L, you're getting 10L/100kms...

Driving in KK really isn't that fuel efficient at all.... I had a seriously modified Ninja and with some work, I was getting around 11L/100km...

Not to mention passing through steep mountainous area that will make the most of ur FE

I kinda slow down these week... and got down to about 11-12+ but no S gear mode... no drop gear... just pure auntie mode... still i doubt that we will get the same 6L/100KM here in KK with 320d
