E60 525 M54 2004 Stock 190++ km/h Melaka - KL (me n daddy in the car, still can floor but slow down coz ada eksiden ahead, behind following was a Merc E class... we're cruizing around 110-120 km/h at right lane.. saw a Satria GTi flashing from back and we slow down... later dad give green light to try.. and then came the merc, so we cruise until 190++ km/h and suddenly saw bunch of car slow down.. the satria before eksiden with 3 cars with the satria facing other way around.. after that me n the merc jadi budak baik.. haha.. thank god the satria driver was ok.. he was driving like orang gila masuk kiri masuk kanan.. )

E85 Z4 2006 Stock 215 km/h Seremban - Melaka (me n lil bro in the Z, dad n uncle in E60, going back home after collecting my Z.. hehe.. dad called and giving green light to follow him at 180 km/h.. jadi NAKAL kejap and push up to 215 km/h before slow down coz takut wooooooo.....)

Plenty more to go bro...

E60 525 M54 2004 produces a lot lesser bhp/torque compared to newer Magnesium and LCI engines :)

Not really correct, M54 525i churned out 190 bhp and 230 Nm torque while N52 523i pushes only 177 bhp and 210 Nm torque even both are 2.5 litre engines

That's because you're comparing a 525i and a 523i :) You should compare an apple to apple. N52 525i is 210bhp, 250Nm and that's a lot of extra power compared to M54.

Reached 210km/h on NSE on the way back to Penang this morning. When arrived, only noticed that the bonnet emblem flew off...damn :(

N52 e60 525 LCI from year 2007 onward is 218bhp , 250Nm ... Once drove at 230km/h , not bad but feel a bit too fast maybe my rim only 17" , think original msport 18" rim should perform much much better : )

230km/h is fast but I think it's not the car but Malaysian roads (wavy and uneven).

hi all bro ! , before drive my E60 530i , don't thing how fast this car and stable , after i try at some highway now i know & feels BMW power sure can win Mercedes & Audi .
i try reach 250km/h but my 530i can't

My top speed is 250 for 520i, firstly, on sport mode speed up to 130, then change to manual and around 220, change back to normal D.

Just a noob question, is it OK while driving at high speed (says 140-160km) and made the DS mode change to D or vice versa? I suppose it can be done but I just dun feel comfortable doing those switch at speed

If its OK I might wanna try lol
