Stolen E60, WNG 888

Hi guys, my friend's family was robbed in their own home earlier this morning. 2 dudes with parangs took most of their valuables, then drove off in her dad's E60. I know it's unlikely, but I guess no harm placing details here. It's a black pre-facelift 525i M-Sport, full bodykit with the 18" M-Sport split spoke wheels and beige interior. No. plate (assuming it's still even on the car) is quite recognizable, WNG 888.Anyway, thanks if you're keeping an eye out for it.Cheers. :top:

Yea at least they didnt harm any of them. I doubt the dad will bother with another E60 haha, insurance payout won't be much since the E60 525i is goin for 250k or so nowadays only.

We have another forummer with his E90 kena taken away! I think this is done by the same group of people. We must be extra careful nowadays especially now as I believe their target is on bimmers especially E60 & E90.

my friend's camry got hijacked at his house. The hijackers rushed in before the gate was closed. They followed from the shopping mall all the way home. Luckily managed to negotiate to get the kids out and they drove off.

Hi JPB. perhaps we can get this "Captor" people do some introduction to us on our next TT their package and solutions, heard that this "Captor" is proven and able to trace the car and deactivated the engine remotely. anybody having this install to their e9x?

If not mistaken, 2 sets of prices, one for continental cars and one for the rest...correct me if i'm wrong.
It is good...most importantly, your peace of mind. If you car alarm is triggered, captor will call your mobile phone and ask you whether you have your car with you...if you cant find your car, they will ask you to relax and continue what you are doing...they will handle it from there...something like that lor.
I have it on my e36.

may i know will we void the car warranty after install captor ??

Well, my friend's place is over at Damansara Kim, the area just opposite the LDP from Uptown. Right near the D'sara Specialist Hospital.

Rubik's E90 got robbed in TTDI? Was it a mugging/carjacking or they took it when he was not around? Damn I thought this area is at least abit better since there is all the nightly patrols and such. Have to worry about my dad moving about in his E39. Hopefully they won't bother my old E30 heh.

If I recall correctly, it was a car-jacking.

Hmm.....I heard its not so easy to steal bimmers unless they hijack you. I was hijacked for my dad's Lexus 4x4 LX470 few months back...in sarawak though. I might have to keep more alert for my bimmers since i experienced once with a nice rambo knife on your tummy. Hijack is a diff story, i just wanna know tat actually they can steal your car without the key? Immobilizer doesnt work? Just to confirm or i really have to get a GSp tracking system or something.
