Good choices. An alternative for the guests if they want to hv Penang hawker food is the Northam Beach Cafe by the sea & opposite the Northam Hotel suites.
instead of that dinner in the hotel, why not try some local flair. Food there isn't something to shout about but at least it's got plenty of car-parking and choice of food.
