Maybe timing not so good.. Since this week is school holidays, so quite some ppl would have gone somewhere with their family.. And would opt to stay home next weekend. No time and budget for so many overnight stays mah...

Maybe a shorter day drive may appeal to more ppl and save the long drive for other times...
And for overnight trip, better to allow more lead time for those interested to block their calendar.. 10 days lead time is a bit too tight.. More lead time may oso benefit as we can negotiate a better deal for lodging.

:listen: Mr Sec., has anyone wrote to Lilian (Auto Bavaria Glenmarie) requesting AB Kuantan to play host (lunch welcome) on the 27th.? Basically I am almost done finalizing the full program for the drive.

The Orphanage Home, MPK (Mini Zoo Gotong Royong) and PDRM (Traffic escort into Kuantan town) has in principal agreed to collobrate and accommodate us.
As for the accomodation, Vistana has firmed their quote (deluxe room @ RM130nett). They will also be quoting us on the "BBQ" to be held after our CSR agenda on the 27th.
Tomorrow I will be going to Hyatt to "nego" for competitve rates to widen our choice of stay.

I will keep the committee updated from time to time (assuming the drive is on "go-ahead" mode :biggirn:
